  4. that big wheel in caernarfon? looks poo went there a few weeks ago and it was there..
  5. the hose will be under the same pressure, as all it experiences is the force thats put in at the lever, so it'll stay the same... good luck with the brake, but i wouldn't go down any big hills just incase something overheats n stuff... hmmm, might invest in a mono trial caliper for my formula oro...
  6. did you try putting the dicta and acs on at the same time as trying the try-all?
  7. so your saying that the thread pitch or diameter is wrong, get real ;p if that was the case, then the freewheel wouldn't go on... the freewheels are from the same batch, they are new, so they were probarbly cut by the same tool... the cranks, maybe they were cut by the same tool, it is possible! anyways u asked me to give my views and i have done it's not to do with shitty tooling, its to do with worn tooling..
  8. no, nobody has mentioned that the cutting tools might not have been new ones...thats all i was saying...people were talking about different diameter thread sizes n stuff...* * - this information is coming from what i've read of this topic, and that aint that much really
  9. in that case my opinion is that.... that batch of monty cranks have been cut with a blunt/well used/aged tool (with the other freewheels being cut with a sharp cutting tool, meaning they would go on with ease) and the threads on the try-all freewheel have been cut with a blunt/well used/aged die or lathe tool. making the amount of material taken whilst creating threads less than usual on both the freewheel and the crank, making the freewheel a tight fit...
  10. ok, point taken jake, wasn't trying to be an ass, just sometimes i can be i guess... yer so, on with the topic... All freewheels fit onto a tensile (typical crank) including the try-all one. all freewheels except the try-all one fit onto your monty cranks. This leads me to the conclusion that the threads on your monty cranks are either damaged or have been cut with a blunt/well used/aged tool (with the other freewheels being cut with a sharp cutting tool, meaning they would go on with ease) and the threads on the try-all freewheel have been cut with a blunt/well used/aged die or lathe tool. hope i've written this correctly and hope it makes sense
  11. loving the frame, very nice... also, the wheels in white look great Will

people are already jumping to conclusions! it's only a CAD drawing, we dont know what stages of design its in, it may be a first sketch up, it may be a final design, who knows...
