peugeot 309 gti (8v) driving A and B roads mainly. on a motorway run its usually 40mpg at 60-70 and then country roads its between 25 and 30 mpg depending on the traffic and how the cars driven.

echo mags are pretty wank, i've lost almost all the pins after about 8 months. to be fair they are very light and the axle and bearings are very good. i'm now on vp's 9 quid badgers with the inner cage removed, they're great

completely foolish comment. firstly, not many electric cars exist, so we'll have to make new cars. these processes use huge amounts of resourses! i personally believe that we need to start using the cars that are already in this world, rather than using up resourses to create new ones! think how many cars are just sitting around, not being used! also, electricity has to be produced somehow doesn't it!

does anyone know why diesel is more expensive than pertol? is it due to high processing costs, or is it purely due to the oil companies knowing that diesel engines are more efficient than petrol ones?

yeh, granted he may have upped the price on fuel, but dont blame him for you following the wrong career! if oil runs out and your skills are made redundant, then it definitely isnt mr browns fault!
