  1. why not try some engine flush/cleaner whilst your at it. you add it to the old oil IIRC and then drain it and add fresh.
  2. OOOOH i love it! i really want to ride now! like NOW!
  3. lmao, this off to a good start first laydee's baps are a bit on the big side!
  4. bit close to the bone that mate?
  5. looking for a 205 rallye shell, can anyone help? Will
  6. it's because cars like this are getting more collectable, simple as that! rallye's are awesome, no doubt!
  7. loving the interior! that wheel looks really well in there. i'd look into getting one of those 106 rallyes to replace my 309 if i wasn't so turned on by the older pugs
  8. i'm up shit creek. his mazda is worth around 2k. which i can't afford. my cars had between 500-1k damage, depending on availiablility of secondhand/new bits. question is, do i go through insurance or not!
  9. think the shell is a write off. skid on ice into the back of a parked mazda 626 !! my main concern is the cost of me repairing both the mazda, as i dont want the insurance involved. front end hit, cooland everywhere, although the engine may be ok!!
  10. first day on the road with the 309 with the new lump in it. and i crashed, so gutted guy's i couldn't tell you
  11. tis a good vid laddy, does your bro still need my frame? Will
  12. bled me brakes properly today, they are MINT now! red dot grooved discs and red dot pads (and a good bleed) ***!
  13. i get what you're saying prawny, i suppose it depends how heavy the drivers right foot is i'm guna stick with my standard brakes for now whilst i sort out the bleeding problem i have with them!
  14. yeah that makes sense, but are you really going to cook your brakes that easily? a good set of performance pads will work well under high temps! and if you can get your brakes to lock, then im sure you can get them to not lock, if you get what i mean! i'm not against big brakes btw, actually thinking of getting some upgrades for my 309, but what i am saying is that you dont NEED them, depending on how much of a tit you can be over an extended period of time...
  15. i wouldn't be so sure, i can lock up the wheels on my bog standard mk4 polo at any speed, which is more than enough braking force imo. sure get bigger brakes if you want to be lazy with your foot, or maybe if you're guna be ragging it for mile upon mile, but otherwise standard brakes suffice in my book. Will
  16. even with the big power, the car is still the same weight. i'd have thought those brakes would be adequate with good pads and a fresh bleed as long as he doesn't do any endurance races
  17. mega jealous of mr scott! how do you like the drive compared with the mini? bit more manageable i bet
  18. pentir is right on my doorstep, well 3 miles away why do you ask?
  19. yeh , thats the kinda thing i was thinking of! so next thing we need are some photo's of the damage ads!! would be good to see what damage has been caused exactly. and i wonder if ford will cover the cost? ducati are awesome! no more valve springs to ping around! no wonder they can rev so freely without problems!
