  6. i ended up using araldite alone to hold it on, and it has held with 1:30 hrs worth of riding. :P i will only bother getting a lockring when the glue breaks. anyways, back to the topic :) Will
  7. nah, the lockring is tatally buggered :P im not gunna try it for the lockring. i have glued the cog to the freehub body with araldite. it works!! :P :P i hope it holds up to some gaps and ups tommorow :P im gunna go glue something together with cotton wool in the mix :P Will
  8. yeah thats the one i need. im gunna try the glue out now, i will post back to say whether its worked or not :ermm:
  9. i was thinking would cotton wool in glue make it less prone to breaking when set? i was watching a composite programme in college and there was this sheet of ice, they hit it with a hammer, it broke (obviously) they then got out a piece of ice with cotton wool inside it, it took about 4 times the amount of stress that the normal ice took before it broke. thats where i got the idea for putting it in glue. it works the same way that carbon fibre works. would this work? if not, why? cheers :ermm: Will
  10. precial profile thingy :ermm: it mounts onto a male thread instead of female like that shimano's :ermm: thanks anyways...... anyone else? ta Will

  18. if you are gunna get a holesaw then an 18mm one is plenty, infact just right. heres what i did: got a centre punch and popped all the way around the rim inbetween the spoke holes (duh, lol). then i took the holesaw to the centre punched dips. i drilled from the outside in and kept my wheel assembled. here is the result: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....cmd=si&img=5848 hope this is helpfull (N) Will
