  1. i already said that the frame hasnt had much thought put into it. the chainstays are going to be round, as are the seatstays. and, yes, a tire is going to go into the frame :) Will
  2. the cad drawing is only really for the geometry side of things. it hasnt had much thought put into it to be honest, lol. yeah, i already have a welding mask but i was wondering if i should risk not wearing it for the first go :) now i know to wack it on. ta
  3. hehe, that'll be me :D yeah, i want it to have that revel type look. anyways here is a piccy of the CAD drawing...... http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....cmd=si&img=6171 cheers. Will
  4. i havent got much further with it lol, i still need to get a mig welder. i have desinged the frame geometry and im currently drawing it on a CAD system. its a mod, with geometry similar to the zoo python yao zhi and the onza t-pro. i will post when the frame is finnished on the cad. does anybody know if mig welding gives of a bright spark, i know with some forms of welding you can have a mask with no UV filtration. cheers
  5. i , and im sure some other locals, will be in Ogwen quite a bit over Half-term. Wooohooo
  6. yo, cool vid, i like the choice of music :D

  9. i find that if you drag the brake whilst pushing your bike backwards helps :D it helps it grip better in the backwards direction for me anyways... also, the toe in/out of the pads has an effect(unless they are already inline) Will
  10. basically im gunna buy a mig welder no matter what happens, even if it is just to tack it together. i already have some tubing to work with thanks :D i could be interested though if i need it for anything :P thanks for the advice again... im gonna go for a mig welder i have an eye on, i just hope it doesent go for too much deniros......... :P Will
  11. if your cold on a ride then all you have to do is go down a steep hill and use the radiant heat from the hub to warm up your hands  hehe
  12. ive used specialized durangos and koxx clear grips, they are both thin and very grippy, but the koxx ones are a biatch to get on :D :P the durangos are more squdgy and i would advise them :D Will
  13. isnt this the same way an arc welder works? also do i need flux for this system? thanks for the links too :P im going to watch the clark gasless welder, and buy it in 6 days if it doesent go through the roof :D thanks :P Will
  14. yeah, ive already tried with the arc kit and its soooo hard to do :P i just keep blowing holes in the frame, as the tubes are so thin(as hit it faster said). would you think a mig welder would be easier to pick up than brazing, considering that i cant currently do either at the moment. thanks (Y) Will
  15. hahahaha, i bet your hub will be happy :P
  16. why is there less torque put through a mod version and not a stock one? ta :P
  17. yeah what he said :P water helps keep the spine lubricated and gets everything running smoothly again (Y) Will
  18. waynio isnt exactly tall but he does huuuuge moves :P
  19. i got B+, and i act my age :( (17)
  20. you guys are fantastic :P i have decided on geometry, similar to t-pro. ive drawn it to scale on a board. im so appreciative of all your help, i didnt think i'd get this much response :( I will post again when i get closer to making it...... cheers Will :)
  21. i had that once, it was when i rode natural after riding only street for ages. it uses loads of different muscles bacuse you have to angle the bike downwards :) i stopped riding for a bit and it cleared up, i saw the doctor, was of some use :P if the pain continues then i would suggest you go and see a Mc. Timmoney chiropractor, really helped my back when i hurt it.(not for the same pain as youve described but it is good :( ) Will
