  1. I have noticed a significant increase in performance on my bike by using the rowing machine regularly. The machine uses the same muscle groups when you pull up on your handlebars. My sidehops have become higher and my gaps further. The rowing machine increases strength and hardly any muscle compared to doing weights. Doing weights for long periods of time will only slow you down and make you less flexible and flexibility is important in trials. Hope this has helped, Lewis
  2. Like jersey rider said, try and get more inspiration off other riders. I find an hour on YOUTUBE searching for trials videos does the trick! lewis
  3. Hi there! Thankyou for advice and opinions everyone! Has anyone got the new zoo cranks? What do you think? Ive seen a pair of tensiles snap, mike (leedstrials) was doing something stupidly technical like usual. So im slighty off those. Thanks, lewis
  4. Hi guys! I have been using square taper middleburns for a couple of years now and i think its time for a change. I had a pair of splined midleburns and managed to round them. I dont trust square taper bottom brackets anymore and there are many more splined BB'S on the market that take my fancy. If anyone could give me their opinion on the new zoo cranks and any other splined cranks that would be great! Recommendations would be good! Thanks, Lewis

  9. Hi there, DDG shooters are originally dual slalom frames. They have a low BB and a high front end. I used to ride one back in the day so did many, but we soon moved on. If you can avoid getting one do so! if its your budget restricting you look a onza T-rex or a Base. Hope this has helped! lewis
  10. If you are wanting to hook a vertical wall you need the wall to be higher than your bikes lenghth otherwise you wont be able to hook. I find it much easier to hook higher walls than small walls, unlike Damon who can hook anything going!!! Like Ali said try it on a sloped wall, like the one in Bradford, everyone knows about that beautiful wall!!! lewis
