  1. Awesome video - I really enjoyed watching that! :deej: Great riding, my heart missed a beat at 1:23 though when you gap/drop off a wall as it looks like your gapping to a rail - and for a second it looks like your casing it really bad! (but you werent of course you were dropping on the far side of the rail) In a months time I will hopefully be on a very similar bike once Mr Leeson has made it :bunny: ~Gaz
  2. I know this doesnt help too much - but I heard that as well. So I have gone for the steel version. I would be intersted to hear opinions on this as its not too late to change my order! ~Gaz
  3. Another vote for divx :bunny: ~Gaz
  4. Unlucky :bunny: This reminds me of a little story... .... rewind about, hmmm 10 years. My crankset was creaking - in need of a new bottom bracket. So me and my mum (I was in primary school) take my bike to the local bike shop and ask him to fix it by replacing the BB. A week later we collect it and he charges us £10- £15 or so if I remember correctly. On the very first ride it starts squeaking and wobbling again... so my dad thinks huh, and takes the cranks off himself- or tries to as they had rusted/ceased on! The guy in the bike shop hadnt so much as removed the crank arm dust caps never mind replaced the BB!! Well, we never returned there and he is now (only a year or so ago) out of business :deej: :deej: Just my little story :"> ~Gaz
  5. Impressed! There is some very decent riding there! Well taken photos too :bunny: ~Gaz
  6. Wow too many great Leesons in this thread :bunny: Nice Curtis as well! ~Gaz
  7. Hi - excellent, thats good to hear! Thanks, Gaz
  8. Haha excellent, we are getting the full spectrum of opinions here! Its a shame for me that I dont like rain as its STILL raining! Should move to North Wales Davetrials - although I guess Warington isnt that far away...and probably still pretty wet... :( ~Gareth
  9. Hello! Results are looking interesting, I think I can see a pattern emerging - only time will tell I guess! Lots of people sorting out their brakes today by the sounds of it, being effectively bikeless Im just lounging around - if my bike was here I would be trying my first grind perhaps :( ~Gareth.
  10. I thought this might be an interesting topic, especially as (where I am) its hammering it down, so I have decided to stay tucked up indoors :"> Get voting! :) ~Gareth
  11. Hey! Cool, so your taking your bike then? Which College are you in? Subject? Im off campus next year but only 10 mins away (walking) so I can easily pop back for some hopping about! ~Gareth
  12. Im not sure Mr Leeson would agree with that, having not tested it though I have no idea if it works! See this ~Gareth
  13. Right foot, definately! But I am going to try and learn some things switch footed, like trackstands - I was practising those today! ~Gareth
  14. Cool, Ill have to arrange to meet you guys sometime :D ~Gaz
  15. Cheers, is there quite a big trials scene in Leeds? I could get the train there sometimes I guess.. although having never taken a bike on a train before I dont know how secureit would be/if the guards mind etc ~Gareth
  16. Yep, Im just off into the drive in a minute actually - Its quite angled so it fun doing trackstands with the bike pointing in different directions, spices things up a bit! lol. ~Gareth
  17. Cool video! Wow some of that riding was amazing in my opinion! It looks as if it would have been absoloutely impossible if it had rained and those rocks were wet..... ~Gareth
  18. Hi there! Im going back to York uni for my second year this October, so I was wondering if there are any riders in that area on this forum? I didnt have my bike with me last year but I will this year! Hope to get some replies, then maybe I can join some of you guys to ride with as I dont know any trials riders there :"> Thanks, ~Gaz
  19. LOL! :D But no, I couldnt do that I would go mad! It was torture last year at uni (couldnt take my bike) so no biking for 10 weeks at a time!) But as long as I get my new bike before October I will be taking it to uni this year! (Y) ;) ~Gareth

    Nice huh?

I might be mistaken Dave (sorry if I am) but it could be the Leeson K.I.S.S.S tensioner, see http://www.leesonbikes.co.uk/parts.html. ~Gareth

    Nice huh?

Very nice! *JEALOUS!!!* Glad your pleased with it after the wait! ~Gareth
  22. Hello again guys, just dragging this thread out from the depths of the server to let you know how Im getting on! Well, today is the first chance Ive had to have a quick spin on the bike with one thing and another B) . First of all I tried those switch footed trackstands - much harder than anticipated!!! But ater 10 minutes I was fine which was a relief! Still a little wobbly though, not up to my old (5+ years ago!) level yet! Then I had another go at rolling backwards which was great fun. Twice I managed to roll backwards right across the yard navigating the washing line, open door and a stack of bricks in an " S"shape much to my mothers (and mine, lol) astonishment! On the other hand half the time I barely manage one rev. of the cranks before falling over... But all in all I had a right blast on the old bike, just messing about in my bike yard  :o . Cant wait for my Leeson....... ~Gareth ps: I am trying not to mention the Leeson in every thread but.... :P
  23. Hiya, do Peyto have a website? Just out of interest, but I looked on google and couldnt find anything? Oh, and Id like to know about the manuals to - I hope so as nice long flowing manuals are B) :P  :o ! ~Gareth
  24. Thanks for that Tomm, Do you know whether you have to send the frame back for a replacement BB for both square taper and ISIS or just for the ISIS BB? Cheers, ~Gareth
  25. Hi Peter, Im also sorting out the geometry for a 24 inch bike that I will be buying at the moment, a Leeson Fluid. I watched your video, thumbs up, very good riding there . The riding you do is similar to what I wish to do when I get mine so I will watch this thread with interest! Im hopefully going to try a Leeson at the end of this week if everything works out okay, so that should help me decide more easily :o ~Gareth
