Take them apart and clean it all in petrol i mean eveything and re grease them thats what i do with them, and they will work fine, or if the bearing races are corroded etc just get new ones. They are easy to take apart just pop of that black end cap(with a small screwdriver or stanley knife), there will be a nut inside undo that and there will be another behind it and undo that be careful to not loose bearings, take them apart over a tray or box to catch some parts, give thema clean and wack it all back together i think the DMR website has picturs of cross sections of how they come apart. tar is always good sometimes but if u put too much on can make your brake pads stick and not come off just for that split second you want to do a kick with the pedal and it launches your weight towards and sometimes over the bars,lol, not good, i use a grind it is easy to do works really well with rock pads, and a light grind with some monty pads which is what i use right at the moment

i reccomend the echo lite that has been the nicest 20inch ive ever riden and i dont ride 20 inch bikes, felt reel nice

hey there guys i was just admiring Ali C's czar bike pictures and i also read a thread cant remember what one it was, that he uses hollowtech cranks, can you tell me abit about how to make them trialsable?, also do you know what is the difference between hollowtech 1 and 2? i have been looking on CRC and they only seem to do hollowtech 2, please help or do you recommend anything different than the hollowtech i really want something light, pretty strong thats why i kinda want to go to hollowtech, but dont know enough about them, i heard i will have to do some machining but that will be ok cheers thanks for your time tom

Yeah old headsets years ago used to be threaded into the top tube, but now they are push fit into the tube with tiny tollerances between the top tube and the headset cups, like0.1mm etc etc, so the chris king dont have a thread hence the name no threadset, tom
