I started trials-shack with the sole intention of keeping it 100% free, as most of you know. I know some objected to me opening donations, and i can fully understand that. However, you must understand, trials-shack costs me £60 a month to run, and will be costing an extra %80 next month (and thereafter) when i buy a new server. This puts a lot of strain on my bank. As not only do i have to fund the server, aswell as media events such as The Bike Show, which trials-shack will be going to for the full 3 days, but also myself. Being a student, i have bills to pay :P I would also like to make perfectly clear that this charge will not be forced. If you do not wish to pay, then eengoedidee is just over there to your left. Also, i want you all to know that i am 100% not happy with charging, but i was completly not expecting it to be this much of a success. Saying that, there is'nt much competition :P Having to buy a new server after only 7 months was also quite a surprise to me. Anywhom, the charge wont be taking effect next month, but April. This gives users 1 month to find other hosting if they wish to, or 1 month to come up with the first £2 charge (subject to change, but will not be more), or take advantage of some our pay in advanced pay plans, which will be unveiled next month. Onto my next matter of this post. The FTP accounts will be un-restricted, so people like akpv who have uploaded 2.5gb :- will be allowed to continue to do so. The no website rule will stay in effect. We will also be offering hosting for people who wish to host websites, more on that when new server is running. Users not in the UK, can send money via bank transfer, paypal or any other means to which i am open to suggestions for. Can i also add, downloading will be 100% free. So vote away, and discuss, as all of you know, i appreciate any comments, good or bad. If the vote turns out that no one would pay, then i will not buy a new server, and trials-shack will close early, on a monthly basis for the foreseeable future. A few people have also suggested concerns about account sharing. If you account share, you are effectivly stealing from trials-shack, as you are taking away money that is needed, and could be used to fund future expansions (which will be happening :P" ). Account sharing will be highly frowned upon, and if find to be doing so, the offending account will be locked. Sorry for long post :P Critisize/abuse away, im expecting it. :P

Not to sound gay, but honestly, when was the last time you heard of someone using one? Personally, ive not heard of one uk rider using one, let alone being able to break one. Trials frames are redesigned every year, and at a guess, this hub will be too. :D I even think Andy said this is a new design. However, only time will tell. Also, weight watching is so 2004. :P

Nah, please add them. Helps the search a lot more. If you dont add them, it 80% does'nt work, as you can see with "Clips", when it returns "Bongos Clips" video. Theres probably a better way to search, but its not really needed if people add extensions onto the videos.

Just to keep you updated on the VSD project. http://www.trials-shack.co.uk/vsd.php Added the "Add video" section, aswell as the queue. Its all working backend, just need to code the verify video to move it from queue to actual database. It's also going to be open source, when i get around to properly securing it all. Don't ask why, but i wanted to open source it, also makes me code things more securely. Add video does work, so add away, just no way to verify anything yet. However, so am i. I will be able to tell. Any entries that are photoshopped, and someone has actually tried to beat the system. There entry will be void, as will any other entry they try and submit. :P How about if i set an extra rule. The entree/real person has to be in the picture? Im sure Rob Poyzer does actually know what he's talking about (Y) I think its rob anyway. Anywhom. Whats with all the hostility? Can you people not hold a discussion without it decending into hate and abuse? A discussion is exactly that, the exchange of thoughts and opinions which then lead to a comprised outcome. If you can't deal with someones opinions, then you dont have the brain power to respond to them. I think all that can be discussed, has been now anyway. This also was'nt just aimed at one person. Yes, everyone. One of our sports leading figures, asks for suggestions, and you have to argue about them when people give them. *sigh*

I must say, i already have the whole lot of TM1. I downloaded from FTP as jonny uploaded (Y) It is the best filming and editing i have seen in a long time, and probably will see. Some of the riding was f**king excellent too. Loving the site, except for the few spelling mistakes, however, i understand how long you've been working on this, so a few errors here and there are to be expected. Very very nice work. Can i also suggest everyone downloads all the videos, not just the people you like, as they are all as good as eachother (Y) This this also includes the interludes, as there funny <_<

No, my using a different hard drive reply was related to the "swap disk" problem. You don't really need to select a different hard drive, but another folder atleast. Already suggested what i know for the pink issue. Tried a photoshop forum? Or even google. Being photoshop is such a widely used program, theres probably atleast one other out there with the same problem as you.

Adam + Chris where a bloody great combo at the international cycle show. Knew exactly where to go to see what was going on, and knew exactly what to say, and when to say it. They got the crowd going, or tried too :) Either would be good B)

Been hosting it for a while now heh. Its linked from over 2000 websites as far as i can tell :) People have it in signatures, website blogs, news sites. Its getting rather crazy. Its died down now though. It used to be the #3 result for "steampowered" on google. Steampowered being the company behind Counter Strike B) So yeah, its been around and come around :P

Excellent. Can't wait to film all this. Going to be great fun. Nice line up :) Now lets hope the way the demo's are set out, and the way the course is, that they can get to show off there hugeness. Looking forward to it.

Im sorry, but it really was'nt all that good, at all :P Riding was mediocre at best :D The dubbed bits where annoying, as you had to try to understand them. Stopped it after 6 minutes :D
