He's right! There was also a wheelset called Z mags or Z wheels or something that sprung back into position... say you threw a loose 180... they'd fold over a bit, then pop back into line (Y)

Hard choice, is that... I'd probably have to go for Jimmy Eat World if we're talking ALL TIME favourites. There's loads that I like, but to me a favourite band has to be whose album(s) you can listen to over and over and just not get bored of. That's Bleed American/self titled, for me (Y)

You should go see The Subways :P No seriously, I saw them on tuesday and they were really good! Athlete were ok on wed, but I just find that they have this sleep-inducing effect on me  Obviously good musicians, but oh so boring. I'm seeing Wilco/wilko (however it's spelled) tonight. Apparently having liked The Subways I will like them too, so I'll have to get back to you on that one :P

I don't know the difference between the two KMC's, but I've heard that new Shadow Conspiracy chain is a bit of a double-hard b*****d. I'd have a go with one of those, Sharn. They look trick too (Y)

I've got some NSL copies of 2004 somewhere if you want one. Doesn't look very different, but there's more features and a few benificial tweaks. Let me know if anyone wants one

I wasn't  I missed the first band, but the other two were pretty good. By no means the best I've ever seen, but good anyway

This man knows what he's on about. Take note. As for materials... you might as well forget Reynolds, I've spoken to them myself, and they basically make standard sized toobs for road or for MTB use with butting in the appropriate places. Trouble is that trials frames are hardly standard, and by the time you've chopped bits off to make the standard toobs fit, the butting is rendered useless (you just cut most of it off  ). Yeah, sure, you can buy custom stuff too, but you'll be caughing up for tooling costs and expenses required to make it, as Pashley do. Your pocket isn't that deep, I assure you! You'll probably find the same thing with Ceeway's Columbus tube too. Best bet is T45. Curtis get it from Elmdon metals, and so can you: Google it :) That's what I'm doing (Y)

I read this and thought Steve had been hiding something from us all... Then saw this and made that relaxing *phew* noise haha :) I just got a jokey card (and remembered to post it!) and promised to make her breakfast in bed next time I go home. Called her this morning too; she'd been up since 8.30am... she can't just do nothing and let people look after her!

I say 'Shed'. We used to have an old barn thing as a garage, but it always got referred to as 'the shed'. Even now we've actually built a garage, it still gets called te shed lol :) I'm a bit of a half-breed though... Mum from south, dad from Yorkshire, so I might say 'glaRss' in one sentence and 'grass' in the next :)

Oh yeah, I'm seeing them tomorrow as well :"> Gotta love working at a venue!

Saw them the other night at work. They were ok, but I didn't think they were anything to shout about.

Classy ladies Jaffa cakes Hot Rods Good music Roast dinners Bacon sarnies Rachel Stevens The smell of a cold morning when it's been raining all night The smell of fresh cut grass CK hubs... that noise when you spin the wheel :"> My car I have loads... Oh and for the girlies... show me a girl who says having her neck gently kissed doesn't make her go 'mmmmmm' and I'll show you a liar

Athlete next Wed. Jimmy Eat World with Greenday and Simple Plan in June. Tom Vek is playing The Social in Notts on the 19th, so I'll probs go see him. I have friend that offered me a ticket to see The Mars Volta next week if I wanna go. Has anyone seen them before? Are they worth seeing? Bright Eyes possibly... Any anyone else that happens to be playing Rock City when I'm working.
-
Thats right - they were made by Whitehurst a few years ago as I remember. £90 or something silly too  As for this: I think it looks fake, personally. I'm not sure what it is, but it just looks wrong. I don't think you could make CF matting (which is what is used when you see the weave pattern) into a shape like that. Unless it has just been wrapped over the top of the original Magura part. Which would just make the bloke a CF tart

Click on the Dave Mirra link and wait... it comes up after an advert vid. That is nothing short of awesome... How can people take punishment like that?! Dave 'rubberman' Mirra :ermm:

It's probably the turbo that he's altered - pretty easy to do I think, but don't get carried away with it because it puts more pressure on the turbo, which will eventually make it go phut. Can be an epensive way to get a few more hp.

The flare is a slave flash - it goes off at the same time as the flash on the camera and helps light the area up when it's dark. As for the terrorist... that area of nottingham is full of them. I think he was just a random that came out of the centre to watch. Patt mentioned him too funnily enough :-

As it says, just a few pictures from a couple of different rides in Notts. There are a couple more, but my scanner is temporarily being bent, so they'll have to wait. Only thing I've done is crop a couple of them - they are otherwise un-modified. Here they are :- (By the way, I couldn't decide which crop of Patt I liked, so I've given you both!) Comments welcome :o

Yes on both counts :o

That was a really good ride :D Guess who won himself a fiver from a random in the Scream bar at the very end of the day too :)" Random bloke: "My mate bet me a tenner that you couldn't hop over that green electrical box, and I said you could. You wanna give it a try?" Tom: "Split that tenner 50/50 and I'll give it a go". Woohoo, Tom wins :- Not a bad end to the day! Oh, by the way, if anyone has any spare hands they'd like to donate to me I'd be really appreciative, mine are f**ked :P
-
Mine came from my riding style :"> If I was trying something and couldn't do it, Joel would say "hit it faster". I'd take twice as long a run-up, and clean it. :S Joel was actually the one who signed me up to this place and we thought it would be a cool name. Managed to get it as my hotmail ID too. :(

I'll be there Jon - give me a call and I'l tell you where we are. Got my Ashton here again now too, so we can compare and contrast :(
-
I'll scan the best of them in and make another thread for you :( Working tonight though, so it might not be 'til tomorrow pm.

This could be quite funny... I'll get my digicam back from my mates house and do a pic  Watch this space "
