  1. tomturd...wow. You travelled across Russia? Was it a Mongol Rally? I met those guys last year. They started their trip in London Hyde Park and a few finished...in Ulan-Baator, Mongolia. $100 was a lot of money If you were russians, you would do with $50. That's all corrupt.
  2. Guys, speed cameras are such a good idea! Here in Russia if you are doing 100 mph in a city and get caught by police you can bribe them and that's it. The bribe is like 10-20 quid. If you do 60 mph - the bribe is approx 6 quid. If you cross lines on any street and start driving on the wrong lane due to the traffic and get caught = 10 quid bribe. You can bribe any cop At first it sounds like freedom. But look... Every year 35000 (yes, 35 thousand) people die in the car accidents. That is twice as more as in the whole Europe. Though there are more cars and 10 times more roads in Europe. Every day when I drive I witness up to 5-6 road accidents. Yesterday I saw a guy lying on the road dead...his shoes were a few feet away from him...his scull was cracked and I could see blood and brains...He tried to cross a massive road...though there was an underground pedestrian crossing. A Mercedes Bens S500 trying to avoid the accident...but failed. The dead guy's friends tried to beat the driver up...he was so frighthened...then his sequrity came up....blah-blah... Do you need all that? Do you know why this all happens here? Everybody knows "the rules are for idiots". Nobody crosses roads on the right place. Every driver here is speeding...and if one goes too fast he would never stop at red light... Russia is closer to the US if we talk about cars. Petrol here is so cheap. All the cars have 2-7 liter engines. My one has 2.4. My mum's - 3.5l. I have friends who drive 5.0l and 6.3l cars. They are so powerfull and fast. They all know if they get pulled up, they can bribe. This is too bad. I used to drive in Europe a bit. It is sooooooo relaxing, so correct. I drove one thousand miles in Switzerland this January...I still don't know the sound of the car's horn I drove there. I never needed it. Here I have to use it every f*cking minute...there are no rules here. If you want to race - go to Russia or drive on a track. If you ban cameras in the UK - you may compare the death rate in one year. It is sure to extend. And it could be your sister or your dad... Stay legal, stay in order. I am so fed up with road mess and rage here. A few vids. Driving in Russia. http://youtube.com/watch?v=xC9B6qA_S04&amp...ted&search=

  4. I will declare myself anything, just gimme a flat in London Hehehe
  5. Thanks mate... Right...so he isn't into internet thingy then... I have tried Tarty already...they usually reply quick but not this time. Guess they are quite busy with the new premises
  6. Hello there! I was planning to make an interview with Danny..but failed to find his email or msn or skype...Or what is his nickname on TF? Danny, please reply My name is Dmitry and I thought of making a tiny interview with you for Trials section of Mountain Bike Russia Magazine. Go on mate! Your vids are so popular here in Russia. Cheerz my msn and email btw: gazza at gazza.ru
  7. Haha BTW, diesel here is even cheaper - 30p/liter. But diesel cars here are only lorrys...only their engines are able to burn that puke
  8. 38-40p/litre here in Moscow. In the middle of Russia petrol is even cheaper. Though the quality sometimes may be crap...
  9. Erm...I just shared the photo of a bmx It is not blatant advertising, so I will PM you You are quite free to customize your frame..Any geo, any grindplates.
  10. It does not flex more than steel. Not a single person who tried riding that bike said anything about the flex. We reached this weight by using standard tubing (38.1 down tube and 35.1 top tube). We used thicker wall tubing for the stays (1.2mm instead of 1mm that is used for trials). Bmx frame is shorter than any trials frame so it is less likely to flex. To my mind this frame is quite heavy There is still plenty of "room" to make it lighter (bb tube has a too thick walls, headtube, etc). The next bmx frame by triton will be less than 3.25 lb. Light bmx frame to me is EB Grim Reaper Ti which is bloody 2.6 lb...I would not feel myself confident with such a frame due to my size and weight...but damn..it is sooo light
  11. My mate's triton blah-blah 3.49 lb Any thoughts please?

    Lights On A Bike

I was once stopped by a police car in London...I think it was year 2002. I was rolling down the hill on the road in the night...the officer stopped me and said something like: "All right kid. I hardly noticed you on the road. You have no lights or reflectors at all. This is very dangerous. If you want to ride in my area, then you are to buy the lights for your weird bike. Next time I see you here with no lights on - you will get into trouble". His speech sounded convincing so I went to a bike shop next day and got myself a set of LED lights. The added only about 30 grams each. I only used to put them on at night. So there was no weight problem at all. Yes, it was funny: superlight titanium mod bike with XC lights on it. My London trials friends especially liked the "knight rider" mode I think lightweight LED lights are a good idea for any bike. The cars and pedestrians see you. It is safety. ...check out the pic. You can see the light holder on the seatstay
  14. Though I am Russian...But I have been to Addingham once observing the world champs round. Liked the place a lot, wrote an article about it in a Russian Mountain Bike Magazine. SIGNED.
  15. There can't be much design in Ti Did you see triton sex?
  16. The frame is made of Titanium, not steel
  17. The production is speeding up quickly...we have built a few frames within 2 weeks. Still it all depends on the queue...
  18. lolz I also don't like that colorful world slogan. The rest of the VIZ though is quite nice. And yes, he did wait long. It takes time to build a triton frame...and it takes LONG to process all the stuff through the customs when you import anything here in Russia. The real sovietique bureaucracy
  19. Braza is the V!Z dealer in Russia... And they were the only tensioners in stock he could get. No the best ones to go for...I told him..
  20. The owner is Braza (biketrials.ru admin)...His account hasn't been upgraded to a full member yet, so he can't post here... He asked me to... All right then Triton Braza double disc 1085, +20, 375, 72 Avid BB7 on both wheels Chris King rear hub and full V!Z componentry... Here we go
  21. Hello Chai! Hello mate! I share your dream. But I am not getting a bike soon I think. There are like 20 trials motor bikes in the whole country. I know one guy who rides his gasgas on the streets. I mean he does trials on the streets. As we normally do on bikes. Many people get shocked, but this is Russia and you can do whatever you want.
  22. Neil chose to be interviewed through email, not phone or msn conversation. So that's was the way we did it There was no need for his cell then. Anyways, the 5 pages interview with Neil is now cancelled because we haven't received any magazine friendly hi-res photos from Neil before the deadline came. And the Russian riders wanted to read that interview badly according to the hits at biketrials.ru. Damn I am so pissed now. It is my fault. I should have made sure the photos were okay. Hope we manage to sort out those pics and publish the interview in the next issue.
