  1. Don't get a welded one, I'm guessing you're running it on the back as you're still running the dicta which came on it, to keep the orignal ratio get a 16t un-welded acs, to go to a more ''normal'' gear ratio get an 18t un-welded acs. If you're using it on the rear then ou won't need a welded one, this is because on the back, the lockring is facing a different way than it would on the front meaning the turning force which would usually loosen the lockring on the front tightens it when used on the back, it also means you can service/remove it if/when it goes wrong.

  5. I would be very surprised if it was the control and not a pure, the control was one of the best selling stock frames of last year why would they want to redesign it to something that is completely different?
  6. I get a thin bit of card and put it inbetween the pads and rim, then push the pads against it. I then use the tpa to move the pads in a bit more..
  7. Kindof, managed to twat my gooch sidehopping to the back of a bench
  8. What annoys me is how people steal other people's avatars. for instance there is about 10 tartybikes avatars about, most of them are in new members. I don't have a problem with TB but i focus more on peoples avatars than their name so i'm always mistaken into thinking it's adam or dave when its actually tommy t or something

  14. If you can get a template for them and photoshop them yourself wouldn't stef do them for you?
  15. Pro desktop does it if you're having no luck with photoshop.
  16. The comp is on the 12th according to biketrialuk not the 5th?
  17. Yeh I have one and it's really nice, my gapping and sidehops have improved and it feels a lot nicer on the backwheel than my old echo did. The only thing its not as nice with is backwheeling, it feels a bit cramped. I think it's to do with the fact it's got a large BB rise with a low zoo stem so i'm going to get a echo stem and try it out...
  18. If you're ordering of tartybikes just ask for an el cheapo headset and ask them to fit it for youi. Only costs a tenner
  19. what so i put the bar over the cranks? Would it work if i just put two bits of wood on the inside of a normal vice?
  20. I'm trying to get my 18t cog and bash off becuase i'm getting new cranks but how the hell do I do it? Theres nowhere to put a tool and on TB.co.uk it says thwere too tight to use a chainwhip on? I would prefere to keep the cog so I don't want to gring it square or anything but is that the only way? cheers
  21. For a unicycle the strongest would probably be something like a dx32/undrilled ronnie/undrilled hog or a Kris Holm rim, Unicycles put wheels under A LOT of pressure so if I were you I'd go for something thats proven to be strong rather than something thats wide.
  22. Putting fittings into the hosing isn't quite as easy as it sounds, you'll need a vice and these sort of polystyrene block things. tighten the hose in so about 4-5mm sticks out the top and bash the fittings in with a hammer, it could take some persuading.

    Cranks

Yeh it would, not taking other factors into account all longer cranks do is make a gearing feel easier, it won't affect anything else.
  24. Can't come anymore, riding some natural instead. sorry
