    Zhi Forks?

I you go to taiwan and tell them that they are a part of China, they will punch you in the face. They declared themselfs as an independent country and who can blame them, they are kapitalist and China is communist. Whether you consider Taiwan part of China or not, it makes a huge difference in quality standards for frame production.

    Zhi Forks?

I think koxx frames are made in taiwan, which is much much better than made in china. Anyway, in the quest for a new fork, i think i made up my mind and i'm going for the fatty R, I found one 2nd hand, new condition.

    Zhi Forks?

Yeah this is what I've heared from ZHI forks as well, the flex. So how do they compare to koxx forxx, which is what i have right now?

    Zhi Forks?

Has anyone ridden these in the 26" version? Wesley Belaey sells them on his website. It's the left one. Looks exactly like the deng echo urban fork. They are probably both made by pulo but are they exactly the same? They differ in price though, 89 euro for the ZHI on Kenny's site and 105 euro for the echo urban on trialmarkt.de. And what the hell is that white stuff on the steerer tube? Can anyone help me out?
  6. Very good looking !! Reminds me a bit of the old belaey frame. The straight going toptube to seat stay will definately add to the stiffness.
  7. 20" is theoretically easier but that's theory off course. I prefer 26" for the wide variety of parts you have access to then. With 20" you're stuck with trials specific parts. With 26" you only need a trials frame and maybe trials cranks if you like front freewheel or a track cog in front. All the rest can be bought from non-trials brands.
  8. superfun video as usual thanks for sharing !
  9. Thanks, anyone who moderates this, can delete this topic then.
  10. I noticed how there are only 3 pages of threads in NMC, so if I have a question, should i still search for an older topic concerning the same subject and post in there? Or start a new one although it might have been covered many times in the past yet invisible at the moment due to the only 3 pages of threads visible?
  11. Me neither, if you would ever want to participate in a competition, 24" will be impossible to use. Stick to 20" or 26".
  12. I landed on my back and elbow, bruising the back, cutting the elbow and getting an infection on it. It was a rather f**ked up situation.
  13. any grip will always fit on any bar, no matter what size it is.
  14. I agree however with natural, the lines are never the same and there's an infinite amount of moves and controls to use.
  15. That curtis looks really good. It's also a good idea if you want to take along some cargo with you. It would be great if they made trekking/city bikes like this for extra luggage. It would be awesome if you could take your trialsbike with you on another bike this way.
  16. For me the best way to learn has always been just riding stuff and figuring things out myself, I've tried tutorial vids and such but practicing one move over and over again got me bored too fast. The only thing I really learned and targetted on was learning to pedalkick.
  17. Natural, for its diversity of lines to ride. Street only consists out of sidehops and gapdrops.
  18. The demonboy was just a monsterboy with a 26" front wheel and a lowered stem, they didn't make a new frame for it.
  19. Monty, koxx, ozonys, atomz, onza, vario, mbk are pretty much the only bikes seen at worlds, but think again, these are all european brands, they have the means and location to attract the best riders as they are all living in europe. Besides that I think Deng just isn't interested in having a couple competition riders riding for him.
  20. I like thicker and harder grips. I used try all grips as well, they were too hard and not thick enough thus killing my hands.
  21. the new ones look like they have a lots stiffer swingarm. This causes the only flex on all my older BB7 brakes. I love them though, they are plain awesome.
  22. I doubt that trials style yoke will have enough clearance for a BMX chainring in front
  23. I wouldn't mind the color, unless it completely mismatches the rest of your bike.
  24. I would get the ultimates if i would buy a juicy brakeset, they have CNC calipres i believe and have higher braking force.
