Right, my mum bought me some big ass, DJ style headphones for christmas, and i explained to her that earphones would be more usefull to me. I'm looking for some pretty nice ones, i've found the Bang & Olufsen headphones, they're bloody nice, and can be found for under £55. £53 BIN on ebay (They're inner ear, not ones that are like inbetween inner ear + big ones) Still, they're a bit too expensive, so if anyone can suggest some really nice earphones, that aren't very expensive, are good quality, and hang on the ear (like those ones ^^) too, it'd be brilliant. Or a place where i can buy B&O ones real cheap? Many thanks, Mike. :P

He/We partially built up the bike with the frame up side down! :P Meaning the head angle was stooopidly slack. Bit of wasted time; Meh.

One suggestion to the site i noticed that made it look slightly less un-professional; Maybe when you click the images to make them larger, maybe do it so they somehow open in the flash-frames... Or open in a new window, which also has a layout... Apart from that, it was a really well done site, awsome use of flash. Mike. :D

If you had checked the site thouroughly *ahem*, you would've seen she was born in 1983, making her 21ish. Mike.

Haha, nah, sharn's much fitter. :D Without trying to sound like a dickhead, i think sharns sister wins. Well done to her. Hope she does well. (Y) Sharn, well handled btw. :P Alot of people would've started off on one!! She is very attractive too, i can see the looks must run in the family. :D Mike.

Yup, with the bars perfectly straight. :-

I think most of the replies aren't aimed in the intention you've took them, eg; "Haha, my wheelbase is longer then your's, I'm better than you etc". It's just a little weird t-f thing than a competition. :S I think gay James might've won when he had his (not-so)Tuff-guys on his pure! :S Mike.

I think this is turning into a "show your wheelbase" thread, rather than the longest one. :S If you can't beat 1102, don't post. :S

If you're after a 22t one, i've got one in silver, pretty much new, a few scratches. Your lbs should be able to sort you out with some bolts. :ermm:

Pads: Tarty Pads Time used: Month and a bit Rim used: Koxx 40mm (peice of wank ) Grind: Various, from very dull, to pretty sharp. Ceraminc: Nope Brake used: Magura, recently R.B lever blade and XTR booster. What is your opinion of a working brake: Grips no matter what, but doesn't stick. Works in all weathers. Has to have awsome hold, but preferably not too much grab. (For manuals etc) How do they compare to previous pads you have used: No pads without a smidge of tar have come close to these. I've had: Magura red, black, monty long & short, koxx bloxx, heatsink A's, Rim Jam red and blue, and these kick the pants off all of them. Depending on the type of grind, they can be really grabby (insane hold), or not so grabby (like i've got now), but still the insane hold. They just don't move!! The wear rate is fantastic, but purely due to my set up (4-bolt mounts on echo are way too high up), so i've had to set them up at an agle, and i've been constantly changing the set up, they've worn a little more than they would normally. (Hardly) I really can't fault these pads, they're just awsome. (Y) £10, really can't go wrong!! :P

Completely agree Si, loads of people seem to believe that street isn't trials, and are so caught up in the hype of the UCI aspect. For example, i was asked earlier on msn; what is bmx? I replied riding on a bmx bike. Doing street on a trials bike is trials, not bmx. Take a convo with Austin earlier, who appears to be doing brilliantly well in the UCI scene; Aust: "ok then who can sidehop higher coustellier or berridge?" Mike: "I don't really think Matt, (as well as alot of other riders) really cares about how high he can sidehop." A: "who can tap high coust or berridge" M: "Aust, don't you get it" A: "who can front hook higher coust or berridge" "who can japsplap bigger coust or berridge ". "They are better at every move" A: "is berridge better than cousts at bmx? because the answer is yes" I then preceeded to (try to) explain that street is a trials dicipline just as much as technical comp riding is. But, he didn't seem to accept it. I'm 100% sure that most "comp" riders (again, i don't like to separate riders, it's all trials) don't see it this way, and can appreciate other aspects of riding, in just the same way that there are a small number of "street" riders who don't appreciate the more competition based aspect of trials. As it's been said so many times, trials is small enough as it is. EVeryone should learn to appreachiate everyone's style of riding, and get along. "and my brothers started riding now hes already better than you, shows how wank you are" As for: Aust: "Exactly so get a bmx berridge because i honestly think hes wank ". :) :D Fair enough, each person's entitled to their own opinions, but let's try to keep the trials community to a whole. :D Mike. Edit: Exactly. (Y) If you want to push yourself without using your bash/pedals in a competition environment, fair enough, if you want to sidehop as high as you can, fair enough, and if you want to have as much fun, well, that's what it should be about. :) I'm sure some things i've said i might have not worded brilliantly, but i hope you can all get the gist of what i'm saying, it's all meant to be in a positive manner. :D

Aye, i was gonna do something like this, i've been hit a few times. To put something in perspective that's relational to something we'd buy: "Bike Parts", $240 + $25.75 postage (or shipping if you're american (N) ) £0 Import and Excise Duty. (Weird actually!) £25.65 VAT £13.50 Parcel Force Clearence fee. £39.15 total. (N) The thing that bums me is that it makes no difference to Customs if a person writes the value as $20 not $200, (although this IS illegal), yet they can charge £40! :( Ah well. Mike.

They're £10, and do work very well. (Once i've got my new maggie!!) If you ask Tart, or Dave@tartybikes veeery nicely, then they might sell you a set. I'm sure they'll see this topic, so probs save you going around Pming them!!

Yeah, you put a bloody bite mark in Sam's pads!! Yeah, tom. Just get some koxx bloxx mate.

Recently formatted the pc, and right from the beginning, all videos have just played green. I've installed the defiler pack, so i've got all the codecs. So i'm not sure.... Anyone? :ermm: Cheers, Mike.

*sigh* It's the question he asked. Read the thread. So no it's not off topic. In fact it is the topic. (Y)
