    Yes, and urrr, no.

    Front Hub

They're not bad hubs, damn cheap, and an absolute bargain at £12.50 with a QR! The bearings are pretty shoddy, and the axles like to snap, but if you're careful/not harsh, it should last you a while untill you can upgrade. (Y) Mike. (Y)

    Echo Pure

It's the same on all (older models, i'm not sure about the 2005) pures. (Y) Matt Burrow's way of solving it was to neatly file the drop outs upwards about 1/2" Seems to have done the job. (Y) Mike. :)
  4. Just buy a zen micro, or an ipod or something, then get one of these: http://www.allabouttheaccessories.com/brow...pe-adapter.HTML (1st link i found, obviously there'll be some in the uk too. :P) Saves you buying a whole new car unit, and you have the ease of having a normal mp3 player, and sort of a car player that plays mp3s, cd's, tapes, everything. :) Probably the cheapest option. :- Mike.

Usually putting the bolt/bb in at a dogey angle causes it, although it's often due to a small bit of grit or something on the thread, and when you unscrew it say, it will try to plough it through the threads!
  6. Haha, that pic is quality. A little one of young Will Arnold: Will find one of me later. (Y) Mike.
  7. Yeah, that photo's pretty old, i'm pretty sure edd's done the threads now. (Y)
  8. Bah, you amatur modders. 110mm axle, done by Edd Potts.
  9. Jees, elminating pinch flats isn't rocket science. You've got 3 options. Decent tyre, (maxxis dual ply for example) Tubeless, Using a load of talcum powder/powdered chalk in the tyre, it means the tube and tyre can slide over eachother = less pinches. Obviously you've probably not got direct access to the first two, try the third. (Y) And yes, Hot S tyres are the worst tyres ever made. Actually, maybe not, they're red. Mike.
  10. I (+ many) have drilled 2, what's the biggie? Looks pretty good, nice idea, doesn't get in the way.
  11. Noooo, completely different. Ebay, about £3.
  12. Liquid latex is water soluble, so if some goes on your rim when it's wet, just wipe it off with a damp cloth. If it's on your rim and it dries, just peel it off... (1st post) Lighter Impossible to pinch Punctures sealed nearly immediately Can run tyres at lower pressures. (Wont pinch, and they can fold more due to there being a tight seal between tyre and rim) Urr yeah. I think the no pinching is probably the biggest seller...
  13. I'd still use a couple of layers of insulation tape!! The rim strip's still acting like a normal tube would, so it's just as likely to burst.
  14. Yeah, as Ali C explained earlier ( (Y)" ), and Mr Chai explained to me on Msn, you can seal any rim!. I'll try explaining again: Hope that helps. ;)
  15. Yeah, i've just asked on the nopogo forum, one of the replies was (accurate translation: ) "It's not that it's obligatory to have 6 working gears, it's that they just don't give a f**k" ;) Seems pretty good. Also got an idea about camping, so we should be ok-ish. (Y) Mike.
  16. Giles is hoping to get a sunday slot aswell. (He probably will) Hop Idol will be being run on both days, but it's only the final that's on the sunday. Expect some sick riding (probably not from me :-) on both days. :turned: Mike.
  17. I've been asked by a few to straighten my hair. Will be doing that methinks. Sadly i've been asked by alot more people to cut it all off!! :turned: What you lot reckon? Mike,
  18. Hey guys, just letting you all know that you need a biu licence, an ACU licence, and have to be a member of a club!! I sent all my forms off to Barbara Wright, which came to £10 for the ACU licence, £10 for the BIU licence, and £2 to be a member of NBTC. So if you've not got any of those, i'd get them done ASAP! Mike. :turned:
  19. If his wheelbase is 1050, measuring from the end of one QR, to the end of the other (at an angle), will only add 0.15mm. Which will be less of an error margin than if he's not got the forks straight. 1050 does sound reasonable, depending what forks you've got, remember they've got very long chainstays too... Mike.
  20. *Cough and Sunday *Cough. :- I'll most likely be going all three days, lacking up the trade loveliness on the friday, then chilling in the trials arena with everyone on sat+sun. :) Gonna be swish. Mike.
  21. It's not muted, when i open up say a song in wmp (9), it says "WMP cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device, there may be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program". I'm not sure what it is, no hardware's changed since i re-installed, maybe there's a driver or something i need to install? Thanks. Mike.
  22. Thanks once again tomm. If a little too late. I've just rebooted after having found the appropriate driver for my card. (SIS 300) My other problem now is that no sound works!! I'm really not sure why. Sound Things (.bmp) It all says it's working fine, but just doesn't do anything! Also, i've reinstalled windows, with proper legal disks, but i don't have any microsoft office programs, word, excel, photo editor etc. Also, Ms Paint wont recognise .jpg or .gif files, only .bmp! It's so weird! Any help. Mike.
  23. Right, bollox. Exactly the same thing's happened again, except this time i can't find the cd! Is there a way of finding out what graphics card thing i have, and then downloading the appropriate stuff from the manufacturers website? Cheers for any help. Mike.
  24. You got a pic of what the hell you're on about?! What adapter do you mean, there's several.
