  1. That definately does not sound like a scam. Get him to pay up front, and don't do anything stupid and it'll be fine. Mike.
  2. Although they're not ISIS. They're heavier than UN72's. They're weaker than UN72's, due to 72's not having a stress point like on the 52's. They don't have a koss sticker on them. (Y) Try and get a replacement, or your money back. If they say no (which kocks have been known to many-a-time), give 'em hell. After that, get a Truvative Gigapipe, they are without doubt the best ISIS bb's you can buy. (Although a little heavier). :)
  3. Man, I've been dead worried, my brother was down in London today, having a uni interview, and he was on the same train that one of the main bombs went off on, but luckily he just got off about 5 mins before it happened! :) I've not had time to read the whole thread yet, but thoughts go out to everyone else who has been affected! Mike.
  4. In reply to Dave I think it was, who things a 1075 wheelbase, 60+mm bb rise frame is a streety one, I think that's certainly wrong! Maybe street trials, ie, doing sidehops and gaps on walls, but it's not a street frame! If you do want to ride a GU, come to Bristol tomorrow (today), a mate will be bringing his. :S Really, you might be best off with a pitbull, less "extreme" geometry, and will be more than sufficient to do a larger majority of moves. (Y) Mike.
  5. If anyone else is interested, hopefully me, dejan (from slovenia) and a few other worcs riders will be down! :-
  6. What, today?! Son of a! :- Try and come tomorrow as well? Trying to get at least a few people on thursday! Mike.
  7. Yeah, that sucks. How much better would it be if it was actually a 2.5 Gigapixel camera!! (Y) Ah well.
  8. Google search + "Gigal Pixel Photo" = : http://triton.tpd.tno.nl/gigazoom/Delft2.htm
  9. I think i've been planning to go down on the thursday now... I think there's a topic about it. Mike.

    A Few Pics

Possibly not, I've held ups from a lot lower landings than that! (Caught on video) Depends on how fast he was going, how much upwards momentun he has, and whether he can keep it or not. :P Some cool pics, nice one. :D Edit: And it also looks like the brick he's landing on sticks out a bit, so it's possible to land on that. (Y)
  11. Wow - I feel privileged! That's one heck of a superb trailor, amazing editing, excellent camera work, and stunning riding, I'm sure this DVD will succeed and surpass all of our expectations! Put me down for one straight away, I really cannot wait. Nice job Nick. :turned:
  12. *cough* Nice piccies.
  13. Very interesting! I was $13 up, in the $0.25-$0.50 rooms, doing quite well, and from there, didn't make any stupid moves, played sensibely, and have just lost it all. (Y) Just no possible chances to win! I'll keep playing. (Y) Oh yeah, btw, damn you noz!!! (Y) Edit: Woo, back up again!
  14. Hey guys, just trying to organise a ride on Wednesday the 6th, hopefully everyone can make it? :) Let us know. Mike.

    Hermance In Usa

In Credible. Riding, was, well, Vincent, some amazing stuff, and that lip-up at the end was huge! Some really nicely done editing, I especially love the bits towards the start where there's some drum beats, and it's shifted around to match perfectly, really nicely done. Music was cool, and went well. Top vid, well worth the download! Although that vid does deserve better quality!! Mike.
  16. Momentum (kgm/s) = mass (kg) x velocity (m/s) yeh? So if the train's going really slowly, say 10 m/s (same as a sprinter), and weighs what, 10 (metric) tonnes (= 10,000kg), so it's momentum = 10,000 * 10 = 1,000,000 kgm/s. And a fly weighs what 1g (=0.001kg)? Under the "conservation of momentum", ignoring air resistance etc, this means that if a fly which had a mass of 1g was going at 1,000,000,000 m/s (2,236,000,000 miles an hour), then it could stop a train which had a mass of 10 tonnes and was going at 10 m/s (22.36mph) Man I'm bored. Powerball

You really don't need to worry about that. "Hello Mr. Powerball man, i appear to have dropped my powerball and the case has smashed" "Oh dear, we can't be having that, what's your address so we can send you a new one. We can show you how to fit it too, it's ever so easy." Was the conversation with one of my friends a little while ago. Powerballs rule, and their warrenty's even better.
