Pads: Heatsink Blues Brake: magura 04, RB blade, water bleed Rim used: Mavic Grind: yes Tar: not needed, at all ever. Other pads used: maggy black, kool stops, heatsink yellow, Koxx bloxx browns & greens, rim jams blues & reds, Plaz CRM's, + others I'm sure Wear rate: On what was a pretty harsh grind, they're doing very well, after well over a month of having them, they're about 1/3 worn, and they come with loads of meat on them. Opinion on a working brake: Bite + hold - lots of it. Absolutely awesome, they have a fantastic bite, and unbeatable hold - they just don't move. I couldn't ask for more in a pair of pads - go buy some! Mike. :(

Me, Matt Burrows, and Ian (if he can get off work!!) will be coming in - arriving at about 12. :( Mike.

The bike in a lovely morning light. My new Fresh Products tensioner, absolutely awesome. :( Cool shot of the pimp cnc'd seatstay yolk of the new control, and the Heatsink blue pads, which are absolutely brilliant! Can't see me needing any other different pad again! Mike. :) (Btw, liking the new changes to the forum - looks awesome :ermm:)

So what the f*ck is on the left in the middle dan?!
-
Yeah, dave's right, it's a 20" F+R kids bike. We found that one out at Koxx Days in March, and they've been "about" since before then, so nothing new. And I don't know what everyone's going on about a 24", I can't see one. ;) M.

I've got everything you need dave. (Y) Give me a shout on msn.
-
Yeah, we did., and *up. (Y) Anyways, awesome vid Matt, it's a shame it took so long, but it's definately worth it, definately shows your riding really well, and the editing worked really nicely. Liked the song too. Can't wait for a new one on the leeson. M.

Just watched that again, and I was like; Thibault Marriaux. Plain and simple. I'm not sure if it's the powerful and controlled riding, the limp biscuit ( :P ), and the rear disk, it just reminds me incridibly of Tibo. Anyway, awesome vid, good job, looking forward to more videos from you on le Leeson. :D Mike. :(

Who bought your custom frame Pete? Did you ever get any pictures of it? :- Mike.

Yeah, it sounds like you're doing everything right, loosen the 3/32" allen key bolt, do the collar up "finger" tight (although I have mine a little tighter), then do the allen key up nice and tight. Your best bet would be to thouroughly clean the threads on the axle and the inside of the collar, and use a bit of thick grease on those, and then again, clean the threads on the bolt and where the bolt goes in, and use some locktite on those. I find (when the bolt's loose) using the allen key in the bolt as a lever, it's easier to get the collar a bit tighter. :- If you want, I have a few of the original 3/32" bolts kicking around if you want one - give me a shout with your address and I can pop one in the post if you need. :S Good luck. Mike.

That was fantastic! Btw, the music was Nightwish - Over the hills and far away. Awesome band. :ermm: >_< Some seriously amazing riding in there, it wouldn't seem like it, but those guys are seriously good! Awesome spring, brilliant accuracy & balance, and just obviously having a great time. Hats off to them. Nice find.

Methinks me will be attending. (Y) Need to get out of Worcestershire!

I've had my 2.35" Singleply high roller in 40a compound for over 5 months, brilliant tyre, amazing grip, and lasted very well. Although it did (does - still running it " ) start to pinch quite often towards the end of it's life. Although running talcum powder, sensible tyre pressure, or tubeless (reccomended :ermm: ), it is the perfect front tyre. Mike. :(

http://www.eengoedidee.nl/parsefiles/?type...=mechstuff.mpeg You'll still be able to run gears this way. :ermm:

Croikey! That's ages old mate that is! Been posted a couple of times before too. :( Nevertheless, still an awesome game, I completed level 2 at one point aswell!! Mike.

How strange? (Y) Have you tried re-installing, or repairing the version you have currently. Or if not, just download it from somewhere else. (Y) If you can't be bothered with that, and it's taking a * away from the end, why not just add another random character onto it, so it takes that away? Mike.

We were talking about this the other day, whilst out riding, and came up with an idea. Everyone who enters the comp has to submit three clips of themselves, in decent quality, and upload them to a reliable host. Then everyone who enters has to download each of the clips of the entrants, and use each one in the video. :- I think this will give people a chance to show off their editing skills, without everyone saying "the filming/riding was crap". Certainly an Idea, I'd be up for it. Mike.

If you'll be using the camera for webcam and whatnot, go for USB, and you'll need the drivers from here; http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-syste...VER&PRODTYPE=37 If you want to capture footage at any sort of decent quality, get yourself a firewire card and cable, from dabs.com or the like. (Y) You shouldn't need any sort of drivers for that, plug and play baby. Mike

Even though, it's actually a really crap design? Trying to force the hub apart with more pressure, whereas a king will just hold itself in more... Exactly the same as Chris King, with a MUCH longer warranty, and don't charge postage, even back from america... *21ep... And pretty much rapes your ratchet, nice That is a fact everybody. Deal with it. Mike. :P
-
Send the AXLE back to king. Why spend nearly £100 on a hd axle, bolts, and collar?! :P
-
Providing you use either a king kog, or a decent quality cassette, which is mounted on a carrier, an alu cassette body is fine. Even the bmx and singlespeed hubs have an alu one, without an option for steel! The standard axles do the job, and if you don't put masses of stress on them, they'll last a while, but when they do snap, send it back to king, and pay some extra money to upgrade it. It's not loads. (Y) Mike.

If money's no problem... buy some middleburns.

:) There's no reason why a 1100 bt won't suit you, maybe have a go on similar bikes if possible? And if the bt's are anything like the newer generation of U6 trials frames are, it should be pretty darn strong. Mike. :) Edit: Just realised the original topic, waaay off! Anyway, Dominique Hermance, Vinchenzo's dad owns it. :)
