It's exactly the same tom. Not in the actual video, Rob, ALL the sound is 100% unedited, they are indeed that loud. But yeah, the combo rocks.

The absolute best pads are Heastsink CNC backings, combined with the coust pad material. Ask Janson, Peter Backgren, and myself as to how good the pads are, regardless of the quality of grind or rim. They're fantastic. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=68980 There's a video of me using the Coust + Heatsink pads in there. Mike.

I can't be arsed to go to maths tomorrow, so I'm coming down with Bigness. See y'all tomorry

Glad most of you liked it, I wasn't really sure what to make of it myself, just thought I'd do something a bit different to my usual style of videos... I'm glad it's got mixed opinions too. As Mr Heatsink said above, 50mm Coust Pads, in Heatsink CNC backings, which I'm exclusively selling together, give me a shout if you want some. Mike.

Just finished my new video, it's a bit different to my usual vids. Was just me, one afternoon, on my own, with a tripod, at the doctor's surgery in Malvern Link, threw it together this evening. 4:26 long 44.2mb Link: http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/Fatmike Then Fatmike5.mpg I'd like to know what you all think. Mike.

It's a forum there for posting stuff which doesn't fit in the other forums, not a forum for crap.

I really liked this one fletch. It seemed overall better edited than your last videos, the music went, and had a nice mix of moves. Wicked.
-
Aright nick. I uploaded it to tv.isg a couple of days ago, just forgot to post! http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/Fatmike Mike.

I'd say the speeds just about right, just hit it harder, and you will go higher. Mike.

Yeah, I'm up for it, will be coming up with the likes of Matt Burrows and crew.

Ben you're a lot better off just selling that, and buying a 2nd hand Avid BB7, I got my caliper for £20. (My 3rd one - snapped 2 ) Definately look into that. Will be a better brake, and probably cheaper! Mike.

Fantastic video Jonny - nice one. The 1st section - Shrewsbury's was the best for me, simply because it had so much versatility, great mix of riding, and most of all, the filming was inspiring! Fair play for putting so much time & effort into this one, great to see the film camera working nicely too! I would have paid for this on a DVD, so good on you. Great stuff. Really looking forward to the next one in a year or so. Mike.

No, he said we have great athletes, not necessarily persons involved in athletics...

What kind of grease are you using? Remember when you take it apart, to thoroughly clean out the helical splines on the driveshell, and the drive ring on the inside of the hub. Use a toothbrush to make sure they're completely spotless. Use a thin oil, such as Finishline Chain oil. I use Dr X's Xlite bike spray, seems to do the job nicely. Mike.

You won't be able to run movie maker on 98. Movie Maker will come standard with XP, although there are much better products "available" such as Premiere. Which would run on 98, but probably a little slow depending on your ram and CPU! You'll need a firewire card if you've not got one, they're around £10 from dabs.com, and will come with the cable you need. Mike.

[attachmentid=2566] Really bright light bulb, using 1/4000s shutter speed. Really need to tidy it up though - ah well.

SONOFABITCH! I hardly ever fall for these, but this bloody well got me. Had earphones in, damn loud! Grrrrr.

Tim Stedman's house party - rock on!!

They're over 6 months old though, so you've got no chance of warranty anyway Pete. I'm pleased with my Hi-Fi's, they're incredibly stiff, and seem to be holding out alright. The 9mm disk mount seems pretty solid too, but it will need to be faced. Mike.

Hey guys. A couple of us are heading up to stoke plaza, should be pretty fun. Give us a shout if you fancy riding there. Mike.

I'd still go with that one Ali, holding out to be a great camera, and I'm sure you'll get it pretty cheap now! As far as slo-mo goes, I usually put shots down to 50%, and you still get the full frame rate at that point. (24fps?). I know that Premiere Pro has much better support for slo-mo shots, so definately get a copy of that too. Mike. Edit: Bloody hell, £228 from Amazon, that's cheap, go for it. I'd also really reccomend Amazon, as they were really helpful with warranties and stuff.

The only bottom bracket I've used worth considering is the gigapipe. I've had mine for over 2 years, and it's still going strong, both axle and bearings. Buy one. Just noticed, on wiggle, haha. "ISIS has 9 splines", urr, no it doesn't!

Removing Magura Material From The Backings?
Phatmike replied to t-mag_rider's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Lol, pliers. Oven on full heat, 5 minutes, and they just fall out! -
That could be a plan for tf, post Xmas swapsies! My step brother came by this year, he's been working with the "Race Across the Sahara", and basically, it's three blokes who run across the Sahara desert, and cover 52 miles a day! Anyway... He bought me a 1gb iPod shuffle, which I really wasn't expecting. Which'll be great for going out riding with. My brother also bought me a new Bell helmet, which is really nice - I definately've been needing a new one for months! Got a couple of cool photography books, a really nice jumper, and put some money towards a Canon 350d, which I'm buying in a day or two. (£600, but £100 cashback! ) My dad + stepmum bought me a robe, (pimp haha), cool top, and also some money towards my camera, which I really am looking forward to get. Check out a sample picture: http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/eosdigital2/do...s/portrait1.jpg Also got bit of cash from relatives, a pair of socks, a bottle opener key-ring (which I know I will never use!), urrm, bit of chocolate, thats about it! Hope you could all bear today.

I've got some blue titanium spokes that are mod length, see the topic to what wheels they'll fit. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=62081 Mike.
