    Putting "scary" into google images, places this image 1st, your image was 3rd, therefore this one beats it.

    [attachmentid=2701] That's what I'm seeing - 1024 * 768 too... Mike.
  7. Haha - Christmas bike! [attachmentid=2698] Better photo of my rail downgap. Edit: No it's not, just bigger, i'll upload the other later Edit again: Here it is: [attachmentid=2699] Nice pics Ad. The ones of your downgaps look so well taken! Mike.
  8. All the info you'll need here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=63245 A couple of things to note is the width of the final rim, check your frame and pad combo can take it. Also the rims to use, as the X517 dented a lot - hence the reason I don't run mine any more! The weight as well is a large factor... Mike.
  9. Wooooo I'm going up to Bigman's halls tonight, kipping there, then we'll be heading up in't morning! See you there!
  10. Exactly what I reccomended to you a while back Ad, they're awesome pedals, and just last ages. Definately get a set of those.
  11. I'd love to go to this, but have no idea how I'm gonna get up there. If anyone's going up M5ish way, or can pick me up from birmingham, let me know! Likewise for anyone who has a spare bed going for saturday and possibly sunday night too! Mike.
  12. I can't see why you don't really want to run a Hope, but why not just do as most freewheel users do, and run the freewheel on the front, then use a locked out deore, or echo fixed cassette hub, and stick gears on there. Then you can run lots of gears, and have no trouble shifting.
  13. You can use standard rubber in heatsink's vee backings...
  14. With any luck I'll be attending. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1701 Let's hope the sun carries on for sunday! Looks like good fun. Mike.
  15. I'm sure me and a few other worcesterians will be coming.

  17. AA route planner > Whatstandwell station. It's 2 mins drive from there, you just turn right after the station (if you pass it on your right), go up the hill, then it's a little track on the left. I should be going now, with Mr Burrows, and one lucky other..
  18. They're not, roughly same price (in standard backings) as they've always been.
  19. Although I didn't make it clear in my previous post, I was trying to comment more on the way Dave handled the situation brought up by Mark, rather than the swearing - I've sworn plenty of times at comps, and I know that of course everyone has moments when they need to let out some frustration, fair enough, but stop acting so childish Dave! --> QUOTE(danny B @ Feb 1 2006, 08:42 PM) ←And mike it sounds like you dont like me also so dont come Nice one, I assume you probably feel the same? No need for the blatent sarcasm either. I know I was very annoyed last year at the bike show, immediately after snapping my forks, and faceplanting a sleeper during Hop Idol, when I bumped into you, and was (very rudley) threatened by "the VAT man coming round my house for selling coust pads", (also received a similar threat by Danny on msn). Like I said earlier, I intend on competing in the YMSA's this year, regardless of who is running them, and I think you should learn that there may well be people who dislike you, as I'm sure there is for everyone, including outside the sport, but denying people from comps isn't the best way to go about solving it, maybe actually resolving issues with particular people would be a more professional way of going about it. I doubt (speaking for my self also) that people will not refuse to go to an event purely because they don't get on well with the organisers. Michael.
  20. I was reluctant to post in this thread, as I had nothing to add to the actual topic of Danny selling tuition on eBay (although fair play to him though, no probs at all with that ), but that post really annoyed me Dave. You've volunteered to give up your time to run the YMSA comps this year, fair play to you, but there's no need to throw it back in people's faces as you have done here. I'm sure you can agree that swearing at a comp is good for noone, especially someone at Danny's high level of riding - I wasn't at that comp, so I can't comment on how loudly you/danny were swearing, but I sincerely doubt Mark's mum was "eves dropping" in your "conversations". Although I can't comment on running a club trial, I'm sure turning people away can't be good (especially in such an arrogant way!). And if people are putting you or Danny down, I'm sure there'd usually be some sort of reason for it, and either way, being in the position you are in, I'm sure you can be mature enough to let it by without having to note names down on a peice of paper and ban them from comps! I for one will be attending the YMSA comps this year, and am looking forward to them. P.s. If we're going to be picky (which it seems we are) Mark's mum wasn't refering to you (Dave) as the idiot, but Danny. "Is it where that idiot was shouting and swearing with his Dad?" Chou. Mike.
  21. "The Butterfly Effect" Fantastic film.
  22. It looks the same sort of design as the DMR/Surley ones, which we all know are a little, substandard... The spring design on them really is bad, and I presume these are the same.
