Once had a dream a while ago where I came home from 6th form, and had 3 parcels, one from Uk, one from France, and one from the US. Then went onto the PC (as normal) turned it on, and there was the blue screen of death, and the PC had a virus and wouldn't turn on, for some annoying virus reason it only went onto space invaders. Several weeks later, I got home from 6th form, and sure enough, I had 3 parcels, some pads from Heatsink, some pads from Michel Coust, and a King hub from America. Turned on the PC, and voila, blue screen of death. Had to re-format. I shit. you. not. Dreams are very funny things, there's definately a lot that we don't know and can't explain about them yet.

I'm there. Wooooooo.

Werd. If you've got a video camera, see if that works, I know my Sont DCR HC19E will, just need a bit of duck taping to the top of the moniter. :wink2: Can then fit wide angle lenses and the like, also have the ability to zooooooom!

Photography Question........appeture I Think:s
Phatmike replied to Davetrials's topic in Riding Pictures
Generally I'd used the widest (lowest number...) aperture I can, to allow me to use a faster shutter speed, and a lower ISO (less noise). This also gives me a narrow depth of field, meaning there won't be much in focus, ie backgrounds blurred. If you wanted to get a photo with a large depth of field, such as landscapes, where you want foregrounds and backgrounds in focus, then you'd use a smaller aperture (higher number), which means you'd have to use slower shutter speeds, and or higher ISO. -
Glad you all liked it. It's gonna make up part of my AS photography exam, I'm doing "climate". Yeah, I could have very easily done it with my video camera, and the results, i'm sure would've been better and smoother, but I don't think it would've been the same sort of achievement to me... Yeah, it is fairly jumpy, I've got a fair bit of work to do to smooth it out, which I'll do before I actually present it, I just got it up quickly for t-f. Mike.

Use batch process on photoshop to compress them, then stick them all on trials-shack using ftp. Easy peasy. -
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows the rake of hifi forks? I presumed it's measured by distance from the center of dropout, to where the center of dropout would be if they were dead straight? Cheers.

Hey guys. Urm, got back from the Malvern Hills very late last night, sooo scary riding down from the Worcestershire Beacon in pitch black with no lights, on a bmx with barely any brakes! Anyways. Me & my mate rich were there from about 7am, was meant to be 5ish, but we overslept! Dunno if any of you've seen my post in the happy thread: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....ndpost&p=920555 Will explain a little bit more about it, and thursday's attempt, which was cut short due to a severe wind induced lens smashing problem. 1337 photos, all taken on my Canon 350d. So urrm yeah, Day - here it is: http://www.trials-shack.co.uk/MikeSingleton/Day.divx (You'll need the DivX codec, www.divx.com) Mike.

Hey lads. Just found out Mr Burrows and Stedman aren't going down to the national on sunday, so I was wondering if anyone who's driving down will have space, and be able to pick me up - I'm shortly between junction 7 and 6 on the M5. If anyone can, let me know asap please! Obviously pay my share of petrol etc. Mike.
-
Providing you have enough petrol! I'm sure i'll be there.

Will the results be posted up?

Woop, close timing, I'll be flying back from Slovenia the day before! I'll be there, Thanks. -
Also, 424mb for a 22 minute video? The file size should be half that. Compress it to VCD on tmpgenc (www.tmpgenc.net), and that'll make life easier.

Me, Matt Burrows, and Tim Stedman will be leaving soon, see y'all there later tonight.

At this point I'd like to add that I've been running tubeless in my front wheel since the beginning of November, with no problems, and it's not deflated at all, and has had several punctures, all sealed. My setup is with a High Roller UST tyre, Mavic X517 rim, and a stretched 20" tube. I had it in the rear (same tyre, DX32 rim) for about a month, but took it out, as I had to run way too high pressures as considered sensible, as otherwise the tyre folded off to easily, and burped air. I'd also say definately use UST tyres, it will make life much easier. Mike.

Photos: I've not done anything to any of them, faaar too much effort with so many pics. I'll probably have a play eventually, but can't be arsed right now. Urrm, enjoy!

I saw them on the new Prototype XTP mod. I'm not sure if anyone else managed to get pictures, they weren't overly keen with me getting some, but ah well. :wink2: [attachmentid=3473]
