  1. Got mine on saturday, been giving it some beef. But yeah, as mentioned, they are the same as the ones everyone's grown (or should do ) to know and love! Got 6 months out of my old one! Good stuff.
  2. I had a great time, even if me + matt did decided to go at like midnight. Won't happen again! Yeah, sections were great, it was nice to have a good range IMO, some easy sections (section 10), some very long sections (section 4), and some extremely challenging sections (section 1)! But agree there was too many sidehops. Nice one to everyone who came, and thanks to everyone who helped out, lookign forward to the one next week! Mike.
  3. Cheers for stealing my post dan. But yeah, was very funny, Shaun's balls looked like they proper hurt! Good lad for doing it!
  4. Sorry it's so late, but I can finally confirm I am going. Really sorry, but I'm gonna have to enter there tomorrow! Mike.
  5. I don't give a crap about the frame, but I'm disgusted at Koxx for releasing such aweful photos of a new product!
  6. Got a chain, just need a mech now. Will be getting in at 11:40 - meet me at the station!!
  7. I should be going, most likely coming up on my own though! Does anyone have a mech and/or a KMC Kool chain please! Snapped my Fresh Tensioner tonight, and am running a sachs chain. Let me know asap. Mike.
  8. I'm sure I'll be up for going, takin' some pics, & do a little bit of riding! Brittish national round the day after though!
  9. I've got some 1/3 worn plaz pads, or brand new 35mm coust pads I can bring along. I'd like to go, will see who else I can get to come up.
  10. Woo, I'll be there for the weekend! You're in for a "treat" on saturday too! haha
  11. Sounds fantastic, I'll be there! Edit: Blimey thats a bit harsh, 8 days from 1st hearing about the event to having to have your entries in! Also, what are the guides on the classes, Senior, Junior, and Open, who is likely to enter which?
  12. Is there a Trainstation near by? Either way: A ) Would anyone be able to pick me up from it and which is it... or B ) Is anyone able to pick me up from a more southernly location? Mike.
  13. Congrats for getting a quick mention in MBUK.
  14. Cunting good effort, however!
  15. Am I the only one who found this episode extremely boring and lack of content? Was dissapointed to see they didn't do any of their challenges... The episode 2 weeks ago, I swear the Cool Wall went on for about half an hour. Ah well, good all the same...
  16. Just like to point out that yes the frame has cracked at the driveside chainstay yolk. This was the 1st time Aran had done this type of yolk, and as with most early ideas it didn't work to well, so obviously he is going to fix it free of charge at his expence. Can't ask much more than that.
  17. The lens is a Peleng 8mm fisheye, theres a wealth of info on it on google, I'm really pleased with it, and a bargain for about £110. Which would also be the reason the lines are bent. All of the pictures are a bit cropped, and a bit cloned to remove the small amount of vignetting you get with the lens. I guess the colours are just thanks to nice bright sunlight, and a good bit o' fill flash! Oh, and the optics of the lens to! Yeah, Marks got much better, we were all impressed with the drop! The gap that matt and James did was very huge! Heres a photo of James(?) Munn just doing a gap up, but you can see the gap up, although it does make the larger cotton reel look smaller than it actually is. Thanks for the comments.

  19. Just like to say thanks to Charlie, Sue, the guy who did the pig roast, and everyone else who turned up to make a great day! A small selection of pics from today Tim Stedman, rolling out, then going over the bars! John Shrewsbury with an awesome bunny hop to plant. Matt Arkright gapping up from the cotton reel onto the other. James Porter doing the same line. Tim Stedman (successfully!) nailing the sidehop up from the sketchy hook thing! Matt Awkright gapping up to the skip. Porter recovering after a horrific accident invloving Adam Bessell! Steve-a fufanuing back down to the pallets, from a bunnyhop up. And Onzaboymark, doing a 6 pallet drop. Comments? Mike.

  23. Whoops, twas me that. Chars everybody
  24. It's fantastic to ride, really get on well with it - instantly clicked. The frame's incredibly stiff! Very little flex, which is just what I like - also going from the "push down sideways on pedal" test, it's much more so than my Control '05. Very happy with it.
