  1. Canon 4TW. I'd say get the 350d, I don't think there's much need for the 400d, and you'll be better off saving the extra money (especially since the 350d prices will be driven down even more!), which will come in handy for more lenses and a flashgun.
  2. Cracked frame? I've seen a couple go at the bottom of the downtube/heatube gusset, same as my echo did (because they're not open ended! ), which also creaked madly once it cracked.
  3. You've been called fatmike for 4 years.
  4. Mark, (re. your earlier posts in this thread), it really seems as if you're trying to promote not wearing a helmet, or saying it's not important, but jeeus, sorry mate that's a load of crap. How you could say that actually amazes me. I know my helmet has saved my life a good few times, (bashing the back of my head once, very hard on a rail, and again on a sharp concrete corner), so like many others can vouch for how vital they can be. Kids, don't listen to OBM. He's just wrong this time.
  5. That bike's always looked good. What lens is it you're using on the 350d?
  6. 1) My ck headset was going for 18 months before it got nicked, and outlasted a pair of hifi forks, an '05 Control Headtube, and 2 avid disk calipers, so no they're not over rated. 2) It's a hope mini, which can work very well.
  7. Joe, both our french faaar exceed's Carol's. Stupid bitch.
  8. Aww nasty man. Do hope you're all sorted out soon.
  9. Wow, what a fantastic video! Was fantastic to see some really creative riding there, combined with some absolutely massive lines! It was extremely well put together, flowed very well, and nice job for putting in such a wide variety of riding. Best video for sure, nice one.
  10. A's in Maths Physics and Photography, and a C in french. What I was expecting, so nay bad. Edit: As's to everyone thats "congratulated" me.
  11. Guessing a fair number of people are gonna be getting some pretty sweet ass grades tomorrow, and likewise some will be getting some aweful ones, so post them up here! Good luck anyways, although it's a little late for that.

    Frames-

Errm since I've been "riding bikes" as it were, once the insurance company pays out I'll be on my 10th frame in 5 1/2 years, so every 6 months or so I guess. Never spent more than £260 on a frame either.
  13. Janson's swedish, and has stayed at mine a couple of times, both times leaving very heavily soiled bed sheets which had to be cleaned by my mother! He's also not allowed to post in this thread again.
  14. To get a ISO (disk) hubshell with bmx internals, it needs to be made up especially by someone, since King don't actually make them. You'd also need to make a simple spacer/adapter for the caliper to fit. The single speed hubs aren't what you want, they're all 135mm spacing, and wont fit a mod. Mike.
  15. T'is just to cover their backs, since selling of alcohol isn't allowed on eBay. I'd say they're cutting it very fine!!
  16. My theory is that if each 1/2 link is ~13mm, then if the wheel/bb moves forward/back by that amount, then it's tensioning both the upper and lower part of the chain, so just 13mm of movement will equal one full link. If more or less is required, then you'll be able to simply add/remove a link, depending on the gearing? Think thats right anyways. Mike.
  17. Looks sort of similar to my old IOLO - ace. T'is very easy on the eyes that.
  18. Certainly is, the thread of the bolt is 11.5mm in diameter, where the dropoutybit is 10mm, so it wouldn't be right. Remember the most amount of movement you're ever going to need is the length of 1 part of the chain (1/2 a full link), so a massive amount of movement isn't needed Mike
