  1. Thanks for the comments. The vertical scroll bar, and small image gap at the bottom is a problem that I'm trying to resolve, that only occurs in Internet Explorer, one of the reasons I hence reccomend Firefox! Ben, I did look into using different coloured scroll bars, but decided against it, as it is only a feature usable in IE! "Willy" - what's the problem? When you click an image, a new window comes up, click another image, a seperate window comes up. Something I'm missing? Robbo, the spherical panorama you quoted is created by taking a full panorama, and using polar coordinates to convert it into a spherical one. Mike.
  2. Hey guys. Spent the last day or so designing my new site, plus editing more photos which haven't been released before. It's the first site I've ever designed and coded myself (which occasional hints from Simon + others - thanks!). Would love to hear your comments and criticism about the photos and the site itself. 3. Peleng and a 1.4X extension tube? Or just crop?

    Condoms.

They're not on the site - just give them a ring? I still wear gloves, they don't stop your brake levers getting cold! Had my 1st ride with them today in like 3 years - they rock.
  7. It seems to me that the atomlab pedals are just not up to the job - I've had similar experiences to you Nick. My favourite pedals were the Welgo B38's - they lasted forever, and were great. A big platform like the atomlabs too. They're around £40. I'm pleased with my DX's so far, just they need longer pins than standard. (Even though I've already put the "longer" pins in. So I would reccomend those aswell. Never been pleased with the durability V8's, nor do I like the shape and size of them, which rules out the V12's obviously too. I'd go with DX's or the B38's.
  8. If anyone's got a head cleaning DV tape, please bring it!

Did the virus also make you type "f**k off, willy"?

    Condoms.

Nor have I with any of my levers, just you wait 'till you can't feel your levertips.
  11. Excellent - can't wait!

    Condoms.

Hey chaps. With the cold weather approaching I thought I'd remind you all about the benefits of using condoms this winter. They come in many different colours - I use grey ones, but they come in green, pink, and many others. The rubber is around 1mm thick, 8cm long, and has a diameter of just under 1cm - Ideal for me. They're available from Supercycles, for £3 posted for two. Confused? Lever condoms is what I'm on about, they're great - stop you feeling the -10 degrees of your brake levers, and makes it nice and comfy, as well as being grippier. I've just put mine on, and just one will do both levers (although obviously the rounded end will just be on one), so you can even go halves with someone. I used them about 3 years ago, and they were great, so looking forward to riding with my new ones!
  13. Nice one, thanks a lot for sharing. Some good stuff going down on Sunday - gonna have to trek it again soon. At least I'll know how to get there next time. It's a shame I arrived just too late to catch Bessel's bail, that was incredible. Oh, and sorry for getting in the way of a lot of shots with the old picture taking malarky. :wink2:
  14. Trailer looked great Jonny - I should've had one from you on Sunday! Ordered one nonetheless.
  15. Threaded bit is 11.5mm, non threaded bit is 10mm, the outside of the axle is 19mm. All off the top of my head
  16. High 5! Just got back home. *woop* 3 hours on the train aint fun. Especially when you've already missed 2 trains! Good ride though, some cool stuff going down. Must've ridden like 20 miles though.
  17. Yet another vote for the Peleng. Best fisheye you can get for the money (<£130). There's lots of examples of shots with it on my site.
  18. Yay. I'll be getting in at 11:34 at paddington, so will have to mish it to Victoria. Mark, I don't have your number anymore, gimmi a text/ring - 07870191382. Mikey.

    Word - appauled by that!
  20. You really need to get a job, Joe. Or at least more hours. Fair play though.
  21. Using a wider chain such as a wide Kool, it will rub for a while (as mine is currently), untill it wears in enough and settles down fine. Using a narrow Kool or similar, it won't rub at all.
