Got it done for you ben, just give me a shout on msn. Got another noice one of Lausanne done - small really doesn't do it justice! Having a chilled time in Slovenia atm, is nice to relax for a bit & be a bit less hectic than we've been. Probably going for a street ride in Ljubljana tomorrow, then heading down to the Isle of Pag in Croatia for a few days tomorrow night. Sounds like there's plenty of riding, parties an pičke. Mike.

...which is half what I got in it. In my '99 Audi A4 1.6 Estate, I can get the MPG's up towards 52-54 on a very careful motorway run (between 50 & 60mph), efficient cruising around 70 gets this to mid 40's, and town driving usually sees high 30's. Efficient driving ***, when you've got a current & average mpg computer, it's like a game! On my trip so far have covered about 3,300 miles. I let kati drive a fair bit, so the average went down to about 36, but this is because we were cruising at 110mph for about 6 hours down to southern spain! Have now steadily brought the average back up to low 40's. Mike.

Absolutely brilliant ben & james - top job.

Hey guys, Typing from Jesenice, Slovenia now. Got here last night, and as per tradition, we had a beasty Peasant's Feast (a certain Mr Burrows will be very jealous I'm sure ), and plenty of Lasko beer! Had an absolutely epic drive down from La Tour De Scay; we went down via Lausanne and Losone, both in Switzerland, and absolutely beautiful. The drive down to Lausanne was just like being in the Sound of Music - incredible rolling hills, with the Alps on the horizon. We got to Brig in Switzerland at about half 10, where we needed to take a car-train (http://mct.sbb.ch/mct/fr/reisemarkt/zuege/autoverlad.htm) through the mountain to Iselle in Italy, however the next one was at half 5 the next morning. We decided instead of setting up the tent we'd just kip outside, so spent Monday night sleeping under some trees near the station! From Iselle down to Losone was without a doubt the most epic drive I've ever had. Was in 3rd gear pretty much the whole way, just hammering it down the side of this mountain. We videoed a good portion of it, will get it up at some point so you can get a feel for it! After having decided any more mountainous driving would have probably resulted in our deaths, Max & I decided to motorway it through to Slovenia. I imagine we'll be here for a few days, where we'll be riding, doing some kiting tomorrow, and with any luck some downhilling. After which we'll be heading down to Croatia and to the Isle of Pag. That'll do typing-wise, so have some more pics. (Have uploaded a couple more, and fixed the size of the skydive pics too - check previous page ) Absolutely epic Paella in Orba! A few more from the bulls; We got chance to check out Gaudi's unfinished cathedral in Barca - is pretty sweet! And a quick pano of some of the trials park in Pau: Was quite an amusing ferry journey down with the three of us and Patt & Tom! Max in the car at the terminal. Tom getting escorted of the stage - he wanted to join in on the stand up act, haha. ..and tom leading a train. ....and tom doing Britain proud Me very hung over, and very sea-sick. Cheese & Onion pasty went down an absolute treat. Bedroom babes... At the beach in San Sebastian; Kati getting touch with her donkey side.. At our campsite near Barcelona, me & kati traded max for a frizbee from a load of Dutch girls - he wasn't complaining! At the Tour De Scay; Me in my last section, decided to go out with a bang, and instead of hopping down, did the downgap, right from the rock in the very top right of the picture. Got a big round of applause at least. Max looking rather gangsta' Was pretty awesome at the lake in Lausanne, so I'll leave you for now with pics from there. Take it easy, Mike.

Cheers everyone & Rich for the Stickification. Currently typing from a Maccy D's about as far east in France as you can get - free Wi-Fi and Daim & Caramel McFlurry's ***! For some reason my computer terminal at the Skydive centre wasn't letting me reply, but I'll echo what Max said - it was absolutely epic. We did it at Empuriabrava, about 1h45 north of Barcelona, and it was awesome. The guy I was strapped to was a funny as hell Spaniard, and I had a photo/videographer from Gloucester, who was really cool. He took some cracking pics, & I managed to get him to take them in Raw so I could squeeze the best from them. So erm yeah, if you think my gurns are bad when riding trials... prepare youself. And a certain Mr Trumper going for it Will get the rest of his pics from the skydive up soon. We headed up to La Tour De Scay after the Skydive, which was pretty cool. Is a sweet venue (apart from the gash-tronomic slippy rocks at the top), it's pretty similar to Hook Woods, but better. Will bosch up some pics with the next update. The sections were set out really well, just shame I was riding like a bit of a tard for most of it! Got a few 1's and a clean, but many, many 5's. Ended up missing out the top 6 sections at the end, but managed to pull off a rather large down gap in my last section, so it wasn't all bad! Max's forks have been cracked since we were down in Orba, and they finally went on Saturday. We decided buying a pair of Koxx forks at 175€ didn't make much economic sense, so we'll pick some up when we get to Slovenia in a day or two. Imageshack is being a bit of a fanny, so I'll upload some more random pics for y'all soon. Take it easy. Mike & Max.

They run them up and down the streets a few times, so you've got a few chances. That's when the bulls are pretty friendly, after that they let one through at a time in a smaller area (just where those cages are), where they get proper pissed off, and the proper nutters get real close and wind them up. Also, just to prove we have actually done some riding this trip, here's a couple of piccies; From Pau Trials Park; On the outskirts of Orba; At Sabadell Trials Park; We're gonna have a brief ride in Barca this morning, and then head up to Empuriabrava this afternoon for a SkyDive. :D Photos & video of that will be provided. Take it easy now, Mike & Max

He had chronic diahoarria last night and this morning - seems to have cleared now though! Mike.

Hey guys, Just time for quick post here, shall hopefully get time to get a longer write up tonight. In a small town called Orba at the moment, have been staying with Danno Brady since Sunday night. The whole town's shut for 2 weeks and everyone here is partying 24/7. Is absolutely crazy! Had the running of the bulls last night, me, max & Danno were absolutely caning it when being chased!! When we were chasing them, I slapped on on the back, which proceeded to kick me in the chest (captured on video)! Shortly after I thought I'd get the b*****d back. We're all having a fackin' awesome time, expect plenty more pics & vids soon. Mike & Max. Edit: My classic "oh shit!" face.

God yes. Awesome.

Hey guys. As part of my euro-trip, I'll be including a week in Buthiers from the 16th august. Obviously me & Max-T will be there, Matt Burrows is planning to come out, as is Ad Bessel and Joe Oakly, and Stan and Ali have already planned it. If anyone else fancies it. Then see you there!
-
It probably takes as long to register as it does to copy & paste that in?
-
Niiice ben. Good job. Hope it's the first (well not first...) of many.
-
Thoroughly enjoyed that - absolutely cracking comp.

Nah, taking Max-T, and my GF for the first 2 weeks.
-
Am off to the worlds in 2 weeks time - getting the ferry down to Bilbao, Spain on the 21st, having a few days on the north coast, then down to Burgos for round 1. Then having a few days in Barcelona, and then heading up to near Dijon, France for the 2nd round. From there (4th august), will be driving down through the alps for a week in Slovenia & Croatia, after which we'll be slowly working our way across northern Italy, the southern and then up the western coast of France to head towards Buthiers for another week or so. After that, and a few days spent in Paris, and a day or two riding Le Havre/Calais, we'll be returning home! Can't friggin' wait.
-
Fail. The pics are downloaded from the camera to the pc, then uploaded from the pc t' interweb. Cool pics btw, looked damn good, shame I couldn't have been there!
-
Sounds great - can't wait!

Another loss. Had the pleasure of Rob staying over with me the year before last, and I can only echo the comments of others, he was such a nice guy, and such a laugh. Was only a couple of days ago I found my old Team Buyall T-Shirt we made. He's gonna be missed. R.I.P mate.
-
Excellent - looking forward to it! Good luck to everyone else going.
-
Damn right. Excellent to see you using your abilities to push what can actually be done, rather than just distance/height. But do keep doing that too! Shall hollowly echo what others have said - wowzerz.
