  1. Diggin' the tune Joel! Sweet vid mate - some real nice angles going down. Proper fun ride that. I really need to sort out a wheel though!
  2. That was awesome. As for the rest of you... lightweights!
  3. I've just spent an hour and a bloody half on one image. Is rediculous! Thing is; it's not even *really* necessary to do as much detail/effort as I'm bothering with.. just when I get into stuff I can't stop! And luke, why don't I have you on msn?
  4. ^^ 3 leading 3 trailing snowflake: I like it! Now finish the wheel & go try it out. Why, despite being at the laptop all day work better at 2 in the morning than I do the rest of the day? Gotta get me a night-job, I'd be kickass.
  5. *tries to think of something interesting* *fails* In.
  6. And you thought regular top-ups (refills...) of just water would end how?! Alan, you silly silly man.
  7. ...already old. Anyways, I'm done for now, and the coffee/thc buzz is seriously wearing off now - got the shakes! Peace.
  8. That's not a bad deal man. Though I guess you're probably paying at least a few Boxx' in tax a year? Maybe half a dozen Skys!
  9. The joys of working on super high res images, then downsizing. Nah, they're all for the VW site, done the Tiguan, Passat CC, new Scirocco, Phaeton, Golf Mk6, and probably some others I've forgotten! Fun at times, pays bloody well though.
  10. Not quite as glamorous as it sounds - much more fun when I'm at the shoot in the studio getting to mingle with hot Australian VW marketing girls! That took me far too long, if anyone wants to play spot the difference - try about 200 dust spots.
  11. In. Been spending the whole evening editing pics for VW of the new Golf Mk6 GTI & GTD. However I'm now on my 9th cup of cafetiere coffee, and my 5th joint of the evening. YOU CANNOT STOP ME
  12. Hey, yeah the material will fit in other backings, including the heatsink ones. Sounds good Matt! Yeah they will. Yeah, they will. Mike.
  13. Cheers guys. Nick - yeah they are the (now) standard O-ring fitment. Have been wanting to get this kind of thing off the ground for a lil' while now, so enjoy the pads, and keep an eye out for some new parts in the near future!
  14. Cool, give me a shout. It's not at the moment, a stripped ratched in my ProII and an imploded rim within 2 days of each have held things back a bit. Good point Ben. Have added a lil' point about that - yes backings and material are available separately! Black (and indeed any colour) backings can be arranged - it'll be something announced soon enough! Riders who've used and loved the pads include Damon Watson (still using them), Ben Savage, Ali C, myself, Matt Burrows, and many others. A few comments (simply off this forum) can be seen here; http://phatworks.co.uk/testimonial.htm
  15. Afternoon all! Thought I'd let you guys in on the new Phat Pads that've been developing over the last few months. Have recently received the first batch of the final backings (3 prototypes later..), improvements to which include improved aesthetics, reduced weight, and a slimmer profile. The pad material is the same as I've been using for nearly 3 years (Thanks Ali!), and as known by many, it really is the best compound I've ever used. The material is now fully CNC machined for a perfect fit. Slimline backings, only 6mm thick - allows for better clearance and reducing the need to unnecessarily cut down material8mm of traditional Phat Pad material. World-renowned for unbeatable braking power in the wet and dry, on grinds and smooth! Used for over 3 years by some of the world's top riders in over 12 countries.Precision manufactured in Oxford, England (conveniently right next to the rocks for rapid testing :wink2:); fully CNC'd to the highest standard, offering superb looks, finish and performance.Universal pad recess allows any standard material to be used.Only £25! Posted & ready to fit.Material and backings are available separately - £12 and £17 posted respectively. A small selection of rider testimonials can be seen here; http://phatworks.co.uk/testimonial.htm Feel free to contact me for more info and to order! Mike.
  16. Looks good Lee, top stuff. Need to get your ass up this way for a ride for a change!
  17. Yeah, really liked that mate - one of the most entertaining vids in ages, top stuff. P.s sort out the forks!
  18. The Boondock Saints, and Dead Man's Shoes are both excellent films. Both dark (Dead Man's Shoes especially) but full of action, The Boondock Saints is also very funny!
  19. I've had (ahem) these, plus an Adamant A1 Short, and now my Phase 1.2.
  20. Yeah, as Grant said there's a limited number of Pre-Production Phat Pads available before new years. Haven't even been able to photograph them yet, so have a CAD image! Slimline backings, only 6mm thick - allows for better clearance and reducing the need to unnecessarily cut down material8mm of traditional Phat Pad material. I'll be bringing some to Birmingham tomorrow and also Reading on Sunday so a lucky few can get their mits on them.
  21. Another huge vote for euro-tripping it! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=123295 It'll give you the freedom to just do whatever, and go whereever you want, can visit some crazy people, crazy places, and do some crazier things! I'd say the best bet is to set out some rough things you might wanna do, build something rough around that, but just leave yourself free.
  22. Just a quick reminder you've got a few mins.
