  1. I've only met him once, but it was a damn refreshing sight to see him at the World champs in Spain, riding that bike, in trousers that looked like they were snake skin. Showed up everyone (myself included!) in lycra, haha. What a dude.
  2. Vee pads are in the pipeline.
  3. What? That's past 360 degrees?
  4. Glad to hear they're working so well Dave - not that I'd expect anything less! Nah, there's no intentions of releasing them in plastic backings; the alu backing provides so much more performance to make it worth it. Although £25 might seem a bit more than some - don't forget the backings are completely reusable, and the refill material is only £12. It is also a 'standard' fit, so you're not even limited to what material you want to use.
  5. I'll be there from 11ish Let me know if any of you would like some pads that'll survive the rain
  6. Not at all simps, It took nearly 7 months for my offense to be concluded, because of not being clear to the police who was driving at the time. Say you're not sure who was driving, and you'll more than likely to get the evidence (photos), I've still got mine.
  7. Ashley. The outstanding material has been made up today, and is finally ready to go! Remaining orders will be packaged up tonight, ready to be sent out tomorrow morning for delivery on Monday/Tuesday. I hope the delays haven't put anyone else ordering these pads!
  8. Rich & Myself (and all the other MAD riders) use the new TSG roady helmet; http://ridetsg.com/product_info.php?info=p...oad-helmet.html Well comfy.
  9. Too right - need to get on it! For anyone complaining about the aspect ratio & quality download the video. The aspect ratio gets fixed, and the quality is loads better! I much prefer the geo of the phase bikes to the much longer bikes around these days - it's far more similar to Levelboss/Pure geo = good.
  10. I'm glad the london ride's been given quite a decent amount of exposure! There was a full page spread with my photos and Jack Meek's best bits in Hype in the last issue, as well as that article in the trials section ^^, and in this month's issue, there's an even bigger article, written by Martyn Ashton, images from myself & Robin Kitchin. It's great to see trials getting a bit more recognition - I wonder how far we're off an MBUK cover shot, like issues from back in the day. (Anyone remember the Kurt Brain interview?!) Edit: Nice one Davey getting the pics up.

    Phase Video 3

    I'm not a southerner!
  12. Top job Rich, turned out really well mate. I had a wicked time down south that trip - it'll have to be done again in the near future. Thanks for the comments on the riding guys, always good to hear. Mike.
  13. Hey Tom! Sincere apologies for not getting back to you - things have been extremely hectic here in Loughborough, and I'm sorry your messages have managed to slip through. Various delays in getting the pad material made have arisen over the last 2 weeks, as well as a full time uni course eating into every moment! However I've taken tomorrow off to oversee the machining of the material myself, so rest assured it'll be done then. All orders will be sent out 1st class Saturday morning. Thanks for your understanding. Mike.
  14. Good shtuff. Youtube Video -> Original Video
  15. It seems the world of trials has just discovered warp speed. Fantastic.
  16. Back to business! This is the last set of pads available in this blue - first come first served! Black backings, however are still available, and other short-run colours will be available soon. (These and all anodised backings command a £2.50 premium)
  17. Wtf! You're half the distance from me! Hour and a half from your place, probably an hour with your driving. I expect to see you there Andy, or you're off the team.
  18. Good stuff Dave! Glad you like them, & look forward to hearing how you get on with them on a smooth rim. Looks like we've just signed another rider for the new season - Ben Savage will now be running Phat Pads on his 20", 26", and practise bikes this season! Having just come back from a major operation, Ben will be ripping up the Elite Category in all the British Championships, and also in the world champs - best of luck!
  19. For all those interested, pics of the blue and black backings will be coming tonight. Keep your eyes peeled!
