  1. No - he'd be a fat human who's eaten too much cheese. Yes, definitely possible to eat more than 80kg of food/drink in one sitting, but not by a 70kg man
  2. So who's the real Swedish hero? And who made that? It's brilliant
  3. Pete amazes me; that is a truly classic, iconic design - and one that will be in a true trials museum in the future.

    Avatar..

Personally I'd describe avatar as the pinnacle of what a cinematic experience can be! Every aspect of the film was so incredibly well done - graphically, technologically, mentally and spiritually, just spot on. Those who say the storyline was 'basic', yes it was in the sense that it was one guy saving some blue people from some evil money-hungry men, but the story was so well crafted, intricate, evocative and epic - more so than any film I've ever watched. I was expecting a cool film with some sweet effects, but it delivered so, so much more in my eyes. By far the greatest film I've ever seen, and will definitely be going to watch it again in the cinema.
  5. Great stuff Mati! Wicked to see some recognisable spots in Pag Gutted I didn't make it out there this summer - will definitely try in 2010! Keep it real.
  6. Awesome What a fantastic way of looking at it! If only every day was Christmas.

    Travel

Haha, that's an amazing advert! Dave, stop being so sarcastic. Clearly there's been a lot of people who've been badly affected by this cold snap, but am I not the only one who's fallen in love with driving again?! You can have so much fun on the roads at silly slow speeds, and get some superb drifts and slides. Penduluming down the M25 at 50 was quite an experience that's for sure.
  8. Stunning, Aran. The light-stem looks absolutely excuisite! Top effort, man.

    Snow

    Dry + sunny here, so have a pic from last year;
  10. I buy fruit, yoghurt and cereal, and mix it in a bowl.
  11. Ian! Sounds like it's a real goer - definitely count me in. I'm not far away, being in Loughborough, so I'd love to get stuck in building the trials course and also bring Guiness on board. See if we can't set a few records whilst we're at it! P.s: I reckon a speed trials rig, and also bring in some techy stuff too to give natural riders a chance to shine. It doesn't need to be too over the top, just enough for everyone to get a decent ride.
  12. I'm totally on board Ben. I'm sure we'll be able to help out - sounds like a fantastic project.
  13. Still game! We'll be there around half 4
  14. Would you guys really think she was beautiful sans makeup, cleavage and a 'flattering'(...?) pose?
  15. Post yours you pussy! I'd sum it all up and offer 'an unconditional outwards manifestation of inner beauty' as pretty much ideal. But if we're gonna quantify things: Gender: Female, naturally Height: Shorter than me, but I don't want her waist height all of the time.. Weight: Definitely less than me, but height/build dependant - some body fat, but generally slim, toned & curved. Hair colour: Chesnut Eye colour: Golden Brown Race: Ethinc or culturally aware at least religous beliefs/If any: A self-developed set of ideologies based upon good faith and compassion, belonging to a religious sect or not.. Rough body shape: See above Age group: +/- 2-3 years of my age I guess? Smoker/Non smoker/Either: Smoker/open minded, but not addicted! Alcohol consumption: Low/Moderate, with appreciation, plus the occaisional bender Accent: Not boring! Level of education/Intelligence: Very high, though not impedingly so Level of ambition: See above ^ ^ What quality must this person have: compassion What quality must this person not have: preconcepted hate His/her opinion of an ideal future: World Peace Personality: Fun, Bantful, Intruiging, Mysterious but Readable, etc Anything else you'd care to add: No Bike ridden: One or many of my prototypes for testing purposes Good topic
  16. Eurgh, this wasn't a smoking vs non-smoking thread! We've heard the 'smoking smells', 'smokings cool' rubbish a million times. Does anyone (& thanks Pearson for a relevant answer..) have anything to add to the OP's original question? Which was have any ex smokers noticed an improvement in their riding since giving up?
  17. Afternoon all. Myself, some loughborough boys, and also the derby crew (how badass do we all sound...) are heading to Stoke Plaza for a ride Friday afternoon/evening. I'm thinking the more riders there are there the lesser the chance is we've got of getting shot, so come along and show your support. Cya then. Mike.
  18. ..intentionally? Anzo - without sounding a bit clichéd it's hard to understand some things like this without having gone through them first hand; people do, but it's hard. And as true as Ben's rants are, they're a bit over some people. , so I'll address some points specifically - No that's a hypochondriac! But yeah it's definitely something that can stop and start, and that can be started from 'nothing' and also stopped indefinitely. I can't speak from personal experience here, but I certainly believed that to be the case hence my drive to stay away from them. Again, there's a difference between showing 'depression' to selfishly gain possible love and attention, or whether it's due to them realising the love and attention they might gain could help them overcome their depression, or perhaps outwardly showing (but not bragging about) their depression as a form of acknowledging it in order to overcome it. Extremely true, but I'd play on the meaning of the word 'depressed' there. Because there's a difference between having a row with your girlfriend, winning £50 on the lottery, or it raining than the feeling of an endless drone in your head and your life that stops you functioning as you'd truly love to do! Exactly, however as Ben said they have proved themselves to work with some people in overcoming depression (or 'depression'). I'd consider them a resort in which they can help the user 'see the light' of real life in order to attain it naturally (do some work, see mates, go for a run or whatever), however if it doesn't go this far they could just become the only way in which someone achieves this liveable state. In the same way, then that some people might use drugs like cannabis to attain higher states and work towards them, whereas some people just take weed to mong out.. Plus, life might not get easier as time goes on - but the way you deal with things can.
  19. I considered medication for ongoing depression about 6 months ago - I had always thought however, that despite various chemical imbalances that contribute to the disorder, it was ultimately down a state of mind. Since then and through more research, understanding and personal development I now couldn't ever see me going back to that dark place and feel like I'm on top of the world.
  20. That was cool. P.s. you cheeky git for doing that bollard line in Bristol back up!
