  1. The hub shell on the ss is stronger and heavier than on the mini. Most people use a 36h mini with allen key bolts.
  2. Weather permitting I will try and be there.
  3. On your key board there are 2 apple keys. Either side of the space bar. Highlight the picture you want and the hold one of the apple keys and press S to save file. Somtimes you can also just drag and drop the picture to your desktop, Paul
  4. I used to work for Helfrauds but now work in a BIKE SHOP and not a Toy shop.
  5. Very good. Nice style and is that you on the bmx aswell?

    Leeson 609

    From the album: My bikes

  7. Maybe you had a faulty kmc kool chain? I have run them for years without any problems. I try and change them every few months though. The khe collapse chain is surposed to be strong alough I have never used one. I would say stick with kool chain and change them every so often.
  8. If you choose to use cassette spacers make sure there metal not plastic.
  9. If your chains coming off chances are that somthings either bent or out of line slightly. Check your rear mechs straight? What sort of condition is your chain in?

    New Bars?

Answer pro-tapers. £45.00 at crc at the moment. They have a realy nice shape and I,ve never heard of a broken pair.
  11. I,ve had an orange zero they have 27.2mm seat posts and I,m 100% sure they have 73mm bb shells.
  12. KMC Kool chain From either customriders.com or alansbmx.com
  13. If you didden't have a chain puller it would. Horozontal dropouts are rare due to about 95% of the factorys that build frame buy the dropouts from else where. If you wanted horozontal dropouts you would also have to use a bolt in wheel as a QR doesn't realy hold it tight enough for trials.
  14. I have had an oange zero. Not a bad frame but not much tyre clearence and after a while they crack at the chainstays. They ride ok if you like short bike. If you can get it cheap then go for it
  15. If you are thinking about 24'' and want to try one your more than welcome to try mine. I will proberbly be riding southampton at the weekend.
  16. I would also Like to know a good programe for a mac thats not limewire. Anyone?
  17. never wear gloves. Hate the way the bike feels when wearing them
  18. I run koxx brown pads all year round.
  19. Me+dave are some of the only trials riders left in southampton now. I,m normaly riding most nights with bmx'ers. What sort of trials do you ride? Pm me your number and we can arrange a ride one night? Paul
  20. Just get rid of msn completly and use adium. Msn on a mac is a waste of time (as I found out).
  21. If you do end up needing the adaptors for you hub(so you can run a std qr). I have a brand new set you can have for £3.00 posted.
  22. Having had both the curtis 24'' and now a 609 I would say go for the leeson. Curtis=3 month wait to build Leeson+2 weeks to build Curtis weighs nearly 6lbs Leeson weighs around 4.5lbs Curtis customer service is ok but not great Leesons customer service is the best out of the whole of the uk bike industry. The leeson rides quicker and stays on the backwheel better than the curtis. Curtis is £550.00 and well over priced realy Leeson is £400.00 The curtis Is a little stronger than the leeson. I would buy another 10 leesons before I brought another Curtis
  23. My leeson 609 weighs 22lbs. Could be the lightest 24'' around?
  24. I live in southampton. Theres loads to ride here. Train station Mayflower park Opposite redfunnel Ocean village Asda West Quay I have been riding at these spots for 4 years+ and theres always somthing new to do at each.
