  1. Yeah I am planning on a deng fork.... the Echo urban to be exact. Any other ideas anyone??
  2. I just managed to contact them and they said they stopped producing them about 3 years ago unfortunately .... I was thinking maybe I could get a normal headlock such as this... .... and drilling a slit in the top cap and maybe there is enough room to fit a cable through the bottom. Since the bottom bolt isn't completely round I might be able to fit it .... So a new question: Does anybody know If there would be enough room to fit a cable through the bottom of the headlock?
  3. haha ummmm thanks for the idea but I'll think I'll pass on that one! Hmmmm some good ideas passing around.... lets keep em coming!
  4. All of the new thick aluminum steerer tubes seem to need a 1" star nut so a conventional hollow star nut probably won't work (unless someone has actually managed to fit one in). Anyways, I love having my front brake go through my steerer and this isn't a problem right now since I have a PX Fork with a thin steel steerer. Although I'm planning on getting a new fork with the thick aluminum steerer and was wondering how I'll be able to run my front cable through. The only option someone suggested was this.... Edit: DNA hollow headlock DNA's Site .... but I can't find the 280mm version ANYWHERE.... If somebody could help me find it, that it would solve my problem. Although I'm open to any suggestions on what other people have done!! Thanks
  5. until you spend too much and the parts start to become very light and not as strong....

  10. Here's a new video I made this summer from all the clips that I'm not going to be putting in my nice video next summer. Also there are two older but still decent videos. Click Here! and go to the video page The last video has problems loading sometimes, but if you just *right click save as* it downloads fast! There are some cool pictures on the site too. Comments Welcome
  11. Yeah really! I should've saved up for one instead of getting a wii But seriously.... that looked like a video game
  12. Thats what I was afraid of haha.... oh well. So I'm assuming that changing my setup won't really make much of a difference?
  13. I have always seem to have problems with front wheel moves so I've been wondering if my bike has something to do with it. Soo..what can make front moves easier? Longer stem? Higher bars? Shorter fork? BTW my setup is (incase somebody has some suggestions).... Zoo riser bars Random 110X10 stem 20mm steerer spacers 420 PX fork Echo control short (I'm not changing this....) Thanks for any replies!
  14. Hey, I'm wanting to get a new stem but I want the geometry to be 110mm by 20 degrees with a 31.8 bar clamp but havn't found any. Does anybody know of one one of these? or something very similar? Thanks
  15. Used the search and nothing much came up so... Does anyone have any experience with the try-all isis cranks? Are they strong? Are they made of cheese? Are they quality cranks? Any info is would be grand! Cheers
  16. I fix bikes around my town during the summer for a little extra cash and decided to make a website to help promote it. Tell me what you think and check out the videos! www.DansBikeRepair.ca
  17. For my own reasons, I'll be switing from a 72 engagment hub to a 48 engagment hub. I'd love to go out and just test the difference myself, but i live up in nothern Canada so there aren't many / any trials riders here. Anyways, of course there is going to be less engagments per revolution of the cranks, but is that difference really THAT big to be worried? Thanks in advance, Dan
  18. Sorry , could somebody upload the original video that was posted on youtube so I could download a nice quality version to my computer
  19. If somebody had an original copy of this movie could they upload it
  20. You could find somebody with a chris king who is looking to get a 26 mod frame and trade hubs.... btw, I own a chris king and am looking for a king bmx hub....
  21. Hey everyone, Hoping somebody knows of a stem with roughly these dimensions: 105mm lenght (give or take 5mm; although preferably more) 15 degree rise (this is close to the minimum in rise i would want = more rise is better) 31.8mm clamp size (sorry but no give or take on this one haha) Thanks for anybody who can help me find something around those dimensions. So basically that little extra piece thats suppose to go onto a quick release is big enough that I can just drill it slightly bigger to accomodate a king?
