Edward scissor hands f**ked me up... when i was 4 i accidently watched a night mare on elm street.. and was so scared i couldnt get up to turn the tv off. i was sat in a geotechnics lecture 2 days ago and was thinking about something along this kind of line. I was thinking about how like... ignorant? nah.. like oblivious people are to engineering and many other things infact. Like when people think of building a house they just think about yeap stick some walls on the ground and a roof and its sorted. Whilst im actually doing a degree in civil engineering and that lecture was talking about settlement of foundations, change in pore water pressures if you rip trees out the ground near a building. How foundations are built under water and how the soil changes over time due to consolidation. Stuff like that... its amazing to be honest how little the average person actually knows about anything. It led me on to randomly thinking about the central locking in my car.. i walk up to it.. press the key fob.. and it opens. Id never thought about how it actually works. Not " button press.. signal goes to car.. car opens door" im talking about the actual programming behind it to get it to work like that.. some one has thought it up and designed something that we take literally for granted. Sat for hours trying to work the f**ker out.... thats not just "button pushing" as some people like to brand jobs nowadays. Thats proper brain work.. If only more of us watched discovery channel *sigh*.... ( Talking of discovery channel.. there was a marthon over easter of a program called "how it works" .. dear god what a eye opener that is! )

good effort dude, working too close to when u wanna go to bed is a big no no. I try and get atleast a half hour - hour break before i go to bed after work. Then lay in bed for a hour watching snooker which sends me to sleep everytime. If snooker isnt potent enough for you.. turn on qvc.. trust me.. that is coma inducing

i managed to get the bulk of my coursework out the way over easter (Maths and geotechnics) but only managed half of my structural design coursework, its in pairs so we kinda have to wait for eachother to do one bit.. and it just ends up as a social when we go to work in the library lol. Ah well. i did a little revision but its really going to be starting now.. spent a hour or two now sorting out my building regulations extracts, tabbing all the pages so i know where shit it ( inventivly too since you cant write anything on the tabs so you have to make some kind of colour coding, move the tabs along the pages in the order you need them kinda way). Ah well.. My exam table is a cock hole.. 5 exams in 4 days .. then 1 exam 3 days later. Who the hell thinks of these things..

ughh simon.. i dont give a shite about the size of the engine or the price of a skyline with god knows how much bhp and how many exhausts it has sticking from every crevis in its body work. A nsx doesnt have to go fast it doesnt have to be tuned to buggery.. it doesnt have to beat every car in the world for a 1/4 mile. Have we lost all respect for cars like the nsx?

I dont care about how slow the nsx is in comparison to other "super cars" cos in white they look so f**king nice its unreal. Proper type of car you wanna drive in a big city.. tokyo at night.

We havent stopped anyone today but you and they only have 2 hours to get it edited and ready... if you do that ill just give you a cash fine.. so what my dad do.. went on the news that night lol. Took the penalty notice in to police station to pay it and got some very weird looks for his £60 fine at 120mph talk about f**king lucky!
