Just make sure its got the same number thing, i'm not sure what the number thing is hence why i'm calling it the number thing. (it'll tell you in the book that came with all the router and stuff) But its something like 801.11g or something like that basically it has to match up. I got buffalo wireless one cos it was the cheapest, and it works fantastic i can't fault it.

Right, was updating my ipod with some more music as usual the other day. I plugged it in and i had a windows balloon come up and say 'windows does not recognize a device connected to this computer' at the same time itunes was saying 'your ipod is corrupted it needs to be restored..' So i went to restore it. But then it all crashed, so i plugged it back in. Now itunes won't recognize its plugged into the computer, and windows doesn't recognize it either. I followed directions from the apple support site, and clicked a link saying. 'request repair' Which when i clicked asked me for my serial number. So i put that in, and it came up with invalid serial for some stupid arse reason. Now when i turn my ipod on, i get a big red cross in the center of my screen and a url to the apple support website, and nothing else. Is there anyway for me to fix this from home? Anyone had a similar problem and had it sorted, if so how? btw. Before any smart arse says 'use the search'. I did. Couldn't find anything about my problem

Nah being young and afraid, and the fact it wasn't very serious. (He tried to stab down, either at my neck or shoulder but because i moved he hit my body, and it was just like a small puncture wound. I just told my mum and dad i was faffing with my bike and managed to catch myself, which in all fairness was pretty bloody believable considering i've done much the same on my leg before. Ok now i need help. I've brought a crossover cable, pluged it from my xbox to my pc. Enabled the none wireless adapter, then i get lost. The xbox can't find any connection, and the wireless won't work either because of an 'ip address conflict' Any help guys?

Rather than make another thread on this and getting raped for it. What were saying is using a crossover cable straight from the xbox to the pc will definatley allow me to connect to xbox live??
