Having live about 5 minutes walk from the campus myself. I can tell you that stoke isn't all that bad, plenty of riding spots and the like, If your into bmx, the stoke skate plaza isn't far from the campus either, 5 - 10 minute ride if that.. The town centre is around 20 - 25 minutes walk from the campus, depending on how fast you walk lol. Usually takes me about 20 minutes. So long as you stay in the 'main' parts, like busy roads and stuff rather than venture on through the secluded areas (especially at night) Your pretty much fine regarding getting a beat down lol (though in todays society that pretty much goes for wherever it is your going).

I solved all the problems and started to ride bmx instead. On street i found there was a better atmosphere, I just had the piss taken out of me when i rode natty, i was never good at trials, but whenever i went to a street ride i found people that were alot better than me would still talk to me and have a good laugh. Yet if i went to ride Natty the only people that really spoke to me and didn't take the piss were Danny, Dave and Ash Butler, and Rob Poyser. And thats probably because were all from stoke. All in all, just ride where you have the most fun riding your bike, after all, thats what its there for is it not?

The talisman, by Stephen King. The wheel of time series (so far I'm on the 6th out of 12) by Robert Jordan. Are really good if your into your fantasy type books. But i went from not reading at all to loving reading, i never started reading (other than magazines) until i was 15 and picked up a book called 'The Amulet of Samarkand' by Johnathon Stroud. If anyone could give me some book recommendations to anything thats fantasy based or historical. When i say historical I'm talking Ancient Greece era, i'd be more than appreciative

In my opinion, you do have a genuine reason. If your not feeling anything for her, why carry on letting her feel for you, you may as well tell her the truth, break her heart. Get with the new lass and at least she can find out sooner rather than later how you feel then move on from it.
