I know you can do what your describing, just dont think it can be done through USB, as that is a computer based connector and no amp i know of will support it. Let alone have a usb socket, I could be wrong but hay. Why not buy a new soundcard and hook it up that way through "real" leads instead of the usual headphone out put that most would use. A decent one wont be as easy to come across as it sounds (espically if your after seriously high quality play back) but never the less about £100 will get you what your after. Go on overclockers or ebuyer to look at sound cards Sorry if its all wrong. Willy

This has been done, and may not be as profitable anymore, but get a website, and liturally just advertise on it, make them pay for advertising and just catergorise everything. So list Topics for advertisers to put there product in. Eg "shopping" and sainsbury's can wack there advertisement in there. Like I say been done, and risky as there is probaly no money to be made, but I know for a fact some people have made millions out of this idea...

Hay all, Cheers for the info. Shall look into the youth hostel side of things, and yes ive been like 10 or 12 times before so I can board just fine . Me and the mates are planning anywhere in the 3 valley's or morzine. Anywhere with a night life really that will have snow (recomendations?). Insurance kind of things I've realised I need to get my own, got a £25 quote from a specialised extreme sports one apperantly. Hay all, Well me and a good few mates (15 or so) are looking to organise a snowboarding trip for next year (A long way off I know). By the way my group would more thank likely consist of 10 lads, 5 girls, ranging from 18 to 16 years. Few questions: 1. Is there anywhere that would be happy to accept this sort of group with age range in France? 2. Would a self catered chalet, hotel or youth hostel be best for this? 3. Would it be easier/cheaper to grab a lift on a coach (know this can be done) rather than fly? 4. Are there any serious legal matters I should know about, like insurance for myself, not covered by my parents etc? Shall add more questions when they pose a problem. Willy

Hay all, So finally got me pc up and running... (just needed to install sp2 poopipe) First off a short spec: CPU: 4200+ AMD X2 Memory: 1GB Vid Card: 6600GT 256mb Hard Drive: 160GB Mother Board: Abit KN9 Problem is when I am start up a game (in my case, Medal Of Honour Allied Assualt), right, I start up the game all is dandy but when I enter a server I check out my frame rate and its 50fps and lower on really rubbish detail. Now I don't know if this is a hardware or a driver problem, but i'm assuming driver. I have downloaded the latest nVidia driver (second hand card, trust worthy guy so I know it was looked after just didn't come with a driver CD) which seems to make the card work "Ok" but it does nothing for the gaming side of things I want to be able to overclock my card etc but this driver wont let me. I want to be able to, and I want to fix the issue of the really low fps even with real pooey graphic's. I'm going to bed now because i'm so annoyed at this, but if anyone has any useful information please for god sake help me! As my has been pissing me off since I first built it! to be honest I want to smash it right now (mom and dad will beat me though). So please, Anyone? Willy

I had two "replaceable" screw in pins left in on the case at the back of the mother board. So when I turned on the board the mobo was being short circuted. Removed the pins at the back and now all "appears" to be fine. The wireless card was inserted at the time yes. Will try changing slots tommorow, to tired/cant be arsed now. Am willing to test anything to get this f**king thing fixed... Cheers for the info poo will give it all a gander. Willy

Hay all, Well have new pc. Got it all built, had a slight problem with shorting the board but thats been fixed. So I install an OLD Windows Xp version, liturally no service pack 1 no service pack 2 and probaly no updates at all. Never used this before to let you know. I start up windows all seems fine (scared from shorting the board), I install my mother board driver, appears to work fine, install graphics card driver, works fine, installed my wireless card driver, has installed but dosnt register my card, nothing at all, not even the little netowork icon's in the taskbar let alone in network connections. So I cant connect to the internet wirelessly (sp?). So I take the pc downstairs and attempt to "plug" it directly into the broardband connection, through a wireless modem. This does not work either. Not even an icon in the taskbar or network connections. So whats wrong? Ive tryed downloading Service pack 1, from my laptop and transferring it to a cd. For some reason microsoft website wouldnt let me do this, so tryed downloading from an alternative source. Did so, tryed to install but when I load that it try's to download files from the internet. Dosnt help (Have Service pack 2 downloading now). Would not having these be my problem and/or do you need both service packs or is Service pack 1 included in Service pack 2? Any idea's guy's as im stuck. Cheers all Willy

This may sound gay but once ive got the basics do you reckon anyone would be up for a rock climbing session, so like a trials meeting we all meet at creation or something and session the walls for a few hours. I personally would benefit alot from this so to learn technique and just generally meeting more trials riders (not that I ride trials anymore). Im planning on going in a fortnight to get my first lesson or maybe even a week today. If anyone is interested let me know once ive learnt I'd be well up for it Joe would you say I try bouldering first then? As I've only ever done this with the scouts ages ago or at random outdoor places. And im a bit of a weakling these days (lack of any activity) so need to get my fitness back up... Willy
