  1. For about a week until theres no pad left :$ Just postpones the inevitable purchase of new pads, i wouldn't bother running a grind if your not going to buy harder pads

    Postal Orders

On a seperate note, do you have to pay to send a postal order?
  3. Same, i thought the audio was meant to be like that until the second half of the video was missing :P Original video works fine though :P
  4. As above, is it really that hard to run the text through a spell check? :ermm: Dont give up though, with a bit of work im sure you can sort out all the problems
  5. :ermm: The only point i can see would be to view album covers, but that in itself is pointless. Its fine adding more features, but it gets to the point where a product starts to lose focus of its original purpose i think. As for playing video it might be good for some i guess but it doesn't suit me, i would rather wait until i get home to sit down and relax in a comfortable chair in front of a big screen than be packed in like a sardine on the train between some sweaty smelly old bastards squinting at a poxy screen
  6. I also think they should get rid of the two categories, and just have everyone ride the same stuff in the same category with whatever bike they want. If they think riding a mod or stock puts them at a disadvantage then they are being stupid and they should change bike to whichever type they think gives people an advantage. I would see this as fair and even. Although i don't ride or attend comps, dont know the rules, and have no interest i'm them really, so what do i know :ermm:
  7. Oops, well it would get him half way there! :P Must read the question properly next time :-
  8. Not for human beings like me and you, but for some of the animals amoung us it seams quite a challenge (Y) And Koxx was only an example
  9. Well you need atleast one gear (Y) For a comp i think its 6 gears, and you need them because its in the rules (that are outdated)
  10. Dont be stupid, even i could fill that easily. And theres always the search feature for finding tracks (Y) Although even a colour screen seams pointless to me, and its too small to comfortably watch anything worthwhile
  11. Is there anyway you can add custom words to the spell check? Or do you just get what Invision give you and thats it? It would be quite useful to have words like Koxx in there
  12. I don't mean push it up where the top jockey wheel is are it will spring back! I mean slacken off the bolt holding the mech on, twist the mech up so it touches the stay and tighten the bolt. Don't worry if the "screw thing" on the back doesn't line up with the notch on the hanger, without the spring that does nothing anyway. That help at all?
  13. Push it up against the frame then (Y)
  14. KMC Kool  Loads better than my shimano was and cheaper too
  15. The new prototype is well sexy. I would buy that if its released
  16. Thats it, i want to use them just for biking. I have friends that tried them as a replacement for glasses but had problems with them drying up with excessive computer use/tv viewing. All i can do is try though. Would be nice to get rid of the steamy glasses problem too
  17. Cool, i'll start off with this pencil  Thanks for the info, time to book an optitions appointment
  18. Too right! I didn't realize just how bad they were until i was forced to go back to them when my Honigs ran out of pad. Luckily they are only on the front, go knows how anyone can ride with them on the back. Koxx browns next i think
  19. It means i can jam the mech up against the frame and not have to run a tiny section of cable to keep the mech in line. I would rate it as the best mod i've done to my bike, even above grinding the rims. I haven't had to f-about with my chainline for ages now  Whereas when i was using a cable to keep the mech in place i had to adjust it all the time, which was a bitch as i have no barrel adjuster
  20. Thats well sexy I assume the front tyre is a Panaracer Trailblaster? If so, and if youve used it before, is it any good as i was thinking about getting one for the front
  21. Does anyone else have an issue with pages not responding and having to refresh manually, only for them to appear instantly? Maybe an issue with the server as opposed to v2.1? I assume its not an issue my end as it happens at uni and at home
  22. Its not that they slip down and i push them up with my sweaty hands (although they do i guess), its more just that sweat drips from helmet/hair/forehead and leaves big "pools" of sweat that mean i cant see. Thanks btw, i think i'm going to try contacts. After trying Michael's towel technique, how gay am i going to look taking a towel on a ride (Y) What type of contacts do you have? After looking at the specsavers website i think that the best ones for me might be the daily disposable that i can wear just for riding. How do you find putting them in? Thats the main reason i have never considered contacts before. The "secretary" style, but i wouldn't have thought it would make much of a difference?
  23. Although its not the same style, Onza do a derailleur saver. Although i've never seen it for sale or found any more information about it. That might be more along the lines of what you should be thinking about? As the old apollo style protectors are very very basic which might get you a lower grade?
  24. And you dont have sweating issues Michael? My helmet and pads are only a month old :P Surely they cant need replacing already? I'm going to look into contacts i think, just for riding.
