  1. I think its been quite good so far. Not too cold and mostly dry, just the early evenings really the only annoyance for me
  2. It used to be if you havent paid it off in 25 years then it is scrapped, not sure if its changed now though
  3. I would disagree also. My forks were replaced straight away with no problems, and Phil phoned me to say he wouldnt have the bars in stock for a week and gave me the option to cancel/amend the order. Good service Even if the phone call did wake me up
  4. Read it again, hes saying he would like to but cannot get there
  5. To run what type of brakes? V, Disc, Magura, etc? Could always get yours anodized?
  6. :P He's already got one and whats to change it for something wider
  7. There is, Dave85 can sort it out for you :P
  8. You know how to search Pete. Sam only made the Coust comment because of stevecoust's username, he was'nt comparing the frame to a Coust
  9. IIRC they are not being produced for the general public. Although i may be wrong/they might have changed their mind. Email them, btw the guys username on here is Todge :P
  10. I have the new echo rims, as do a few people now. But couldn't really give you any idea of how well it would hold up on the back as i don't do anything big to the front. From a quick look it looks to be the same construction as the rear only narrower
  11. I thought the website was fine, what don't you like about it? I don't really get on with the selectbikes website, the different sections for different frame manufacturers is annoying, so is having so many unnecessary sections. The Brake pads, Brake spares and Brakes sections might as well just be one section, and why have a seperate section for front hubs and not rear? Splitting it down too much complicates things, also listing the new echo rim five/six times for all the different colours is annoying, they might as well just use a drop down box to select colour. If it was better organised then i would order more, least it has online ordering though :)
  12. I ran a ex729 for a while with hs33's. It worked okay but i couldn't help thinking i was loosing a fair bit of braking performance as less than half the pad was hitting the rim, and it made a mess of my pads when they wore into funny shapes. If you can get one cheap then have a try for yourself, but if your buying retail then i would probably just go for a different rim to start with.
  13. The tabs at the top, you probably only have original selected. Select something sensible like 2-up or 4-up. Then the file size and quality settings for each of the images is shown below them, which you can change by selecting one of the images and playing with the boxes on the right
  14. I don't because (in this order): 1: I don't consider myself good enough 2: I haven't a clue where the nearest comp would be 3: The six gear rule
  15. I have the £10 Mongoose ones from CRC, but i never use them as they are beasts. Its impossible to hurt yourself while wearing them, as its impossible to move enough to get into a situation where you could hurt yourself (Y) Recommend avoiding those
  16. If you keep with that site rather than making your own you should aleast sort the pictures out. They are tiny (330*245) and the file size is huge (600kB) so they take ages to load and yet you can barely see them (Y) Photoshop > File Menu > Save For Web and then go nuts
  17. I think the idea is its on your driving license thats in your handbag, in the car (Y)
  18. The supercycles website is annoying. All the links to component categorys link to the same page (Y) As a result I only buy stuff from there when i'm desperate
  19. Christmas do is at lunchtime so i cant make it (Y)
