right, my mate just brought a brand new chain ring a few hour ago (steel) due to his old one being bent and this one is bent already, we have checked what could be the cause but theres nothing out of the ordinary in his drive train, its a 22 tooth 4 bolt one, (for stock) and its on a onza bashguard, everything is tight, also he didnt buy a new chain, i hear your supposed to let them bed in together but i dont really think this would cause it to bend, anyone got any ideas how to fix it?

Doubt it exploded if you can still use it. Might not need to, check the bearings etc see whats making it sound funny, maybe the spokes are loose/snapped? One drop wont crack your frame No frames dont snap that easily what, do you think he was ontop of ten pallets practicing his rolling gaps?
