  1. Bottom brackets, bashrings and mechs are very heavy, but to be honest you have a strong enough build at the minute, personally I wouldn't comprimise any strength for a slightly lighter bike... If you feel comfortable riding, keep it how it is or make sure you get stronger AND lighter parts... Nathan
  2. Trials bikes and parts lose value extremely quickly I think you would be lucky to get £600 for it, not because it's "worth" that but because that price is realistic I'm afraid... Nathan
  3. Hiya mate I'm from Whittlsey near Peterborough, if you're riding in St Neots at all, give us a shout and me and some mates can pop down on the train! Cheers mate, feel free to PM me... Nathan
  4. Make sure you are very comfotable with backhopping with the front end quite high, then giving the bars a quick twist in each individual hop will help you to get round... The other method is to kick it straight up, while twisting, but as you say it is personal preference and quite unstable... Give it time, and put in plenty of practise - you'll have it in no time! Nathan
  5. Very ver nice, what did you do your frame with at the front, did you use marker? I was going to do it, but worried about ruining the job cos im an idiot Nathan
  6. Looks lovely with the black and pink imo, you've definitely done a good job, perhaps should have had black hubs but very nice nevertheless... I like black, providing you have colour somewhere else which you do - good job... Nathan
  7. Hahahahaha I had an Echo CNC 05 rim, on a Shimano XT hub, that I had used for nearly a year, and the rim had lots of holes and dents in it etc etc.. The freehub, when I took the wheel off, would not bearly spin round and did not make any noise. You could actually see the rim bob up and down and move left and right as I spun the wheel, and now my tyre is rather deformed. It is still alive and working however, and it has been donated to a friend in need. The rim also had a crack at the join all the way through the rim, but managed to keep her going long enough. Good topic - Nathan
  8. Can see where you're coming from, but as has been said a bit unneceassary if you ask me... If you are planning on running a disc in the near future, and currently have a different brake , I say go for it, but otherwise may be a waste of time... Nathan
  9. Wheel has died, but may be going to boro anyway now Karl, so I'll probs see you around! Nathan
  10. Alright I spose, I wouldn't do it but that's me... I think Tunni would do that, and even if he did drop his front, as long as the arse is back I don't see a massive problem with hurting oneself... Nathan
  11. That 2nd pic doesn't look real - what the hell? Looks like a sidehop that has been photoshopped and edited onto different background I don't know just looks weeeeiiiieeerd... Nathan
  12. I think I actually just creamed.... That is sooo mint Don't mean to be pessamistic but I don't know how well you'll get on with that gusset tensioner, I have one and it has let me down a lot - nothing drastic just won't keep the chain tight Nathan
  13. Looks alright mate, from the other parts on it looks like its designed to put up with whatever you throw at it... They should hold up, and as its a full build they will be professionally built etc so should be fine! Go for it bud! Nathan

Doctor Who is better though - Could have been an alien warship that did that! Hahahaha Nathan
  15. Thanks dude, I didn't know how they'd come out but turned out to be fine... Nathan
  16. Very cool I'm liking that photoshop Craig, might try summit like that myself haha I love the paint splash effect looks great on anything! Nathan
  17. Just a few pics from the ride today, nothing special but was good fun! I was the camera man today so will get pics of me next time... Nathan
  18. Looks mean, I prefer light blue myself but that is pretty luch mate! Really really tempted to get one now Very nice, Nathan
  19. Not a bad vid mate! I can tell you guys would be a good laugh to ride with!!!!! Nathan
  20. Onzas are ok as long as you have the sort of income to maintain all parts My mate bought an 05 T-mag and he already has new headset, freewheel and needs a new rear wheel... Probably better off getting something like a python from the fs section on here - it will only break as much as a new bike will... Nathan
  21. Yer go for the monty for the money, and as said previously the t-comp is more just for competition riding The monty will be much better for an all-rounder... Nathan
  22. Dammit missed the thread - I would have come with you Wally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never mind, once I get my wheel sorted out I'll be down lads! Nathan
  23. I think we need to get 24" entries in, 24" riders have an imagination, although I think some of the stuff in these videos has ben ace Its only a laugh, and to be honest the effort that goes into making a vid like on just a kerb deserves some respect... May enter soon, if I can be bothered to get off my arus... Nathan
  24. I like certain bits, but as J-B said, bit too much hehe As long as it rides nicely, which I'm sure she does, then fair play Just don't scratch it Nathan
  25. Very nice, I really should get some tensiles for mine... Do you not find the short 05 too small? I am only 5ft 7 and I think it feels tiny... Well very nice anyways Nathan
