  1. Yeah good idea, or you could go for some dmr zippy grippy Both are availiable from www.chainreactioncycles.com or if you can't find the ODI's, check www.alansbmx.com ... Cheers, Nathan
  2. Keep looking in for sale/wanted, you may have to pm people about the sales however as you can't post in there yet PS: I would not recommend a t-vee, save up and get a pro or mag, be careful with them too because the t-vee's and t-pro's are very liable to snap from what I've seen... If you're gonna go for an onza, a t-mag is best, strong, study, brilliant to ride for the money...
  3. I started about 18 months ago on a barracuda subway, since then I have changed every part except the pedals and bars, but am updgrading them too soon.... I now have a zoo pitbull...

    Money

All my mates have paper rounds, and my girlfriend works in a chippy, that pays well... Just have a look in your local newspaper mate cos my girlfriend's only 14 too... (Im not a pedo I turned 15 3 days ago) Nathan
  5. The zhi is basically a replica of the zoo pitbull, go for a pitbull, they are sold in britain and they are one of the best trials frames you can buy, visit www.selectbikes.com Nathan
  6. You'll have to use something 125mm+ I would say, I have an 18 tooth echo cog on my 05 and it rubbed slightly on the stay with a 110mm xt bb Go safe and run a 127.5, I use a neco from selectbikes, cheap too Nathan
  7. Because we're special... Nathan On a more serious note, I agree with craig on this one, everyone just progresses so far so quickly
  8. Would love to see some pics of that mate NICE I ride: Zoo Pitbull... Soon getting: Onza shin digs (silver) FSA XC170 stem Ordered this week: Pair of XT hubs with rear echo 05 and front mavic d521 grey 05 hs33 in silver Maxxis high roller 2.35 super tacky Nathan
  9. Ooooo, that's interesting By the way to upload images visit the for sale/wanted thread, or the sites, vid and pics (not sure which) and read; "How to upload images" It's easiest if you have a site (like photobucket or image-shack) to dump them on, then you can just use image tags... Nathan...
  10. You could try it on flat first, just to get used to it a bit more... Try putting yourself in an awquard position while doing a wheelswap on the ground, and try to get out of it... It could just be a case of having to pedal the front wheel up after swapping... Are you doing it smoothly like felix mucke, or the kind of way that tunni and craig lee scott do? Cheers, Nathan
  11. They look strong, heavy but no good for trials... Nathan...
  12. Yes yes yes... Then you have the choice of: The 05 with little bb rise and choice of long or short... The 06 with bigger bb rise and choice of long or short... You could even go with matty and get a echo team, they're not bad... And if you really want you could get a gu typhoon mod... All can be found here; http://www.selectbikes.com/ Nathan PS: XTP's are too expensive too...
  13. I'm getting a high roller 2.5 super tacky, although they're not on offer they are still as cheap I love crc... Nathan... PS: thought this topic could do with a reply as it is rather useful...
  14. Hairy muff... Cheers lads, perhaps should have looked at tunni's spec on his really... Thanks again, Nathan
  15. As the title says, will it fit the frame, I've been told they are much wider than 2.5 when on a wide rim... A confused Nathan...
  16. Yep: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=2222 Same thing happened to me, get a new headset, pigs are almighty crap It is normally just because it can't stand it, it can even happen putting them on (smashing them between headset cup and fork crown) Looks like, from CRC's stockings, that its happened to a lot of people recently Nathan
  17. You could have a go at an onza zoot, they do look nice... Mind you if you do like 20" then stick with it Nathan
  18. I've got an 05 pitbull and it has a little bb rise, I run this 40 deg. 80mm I think Should be getting a 35 deg. 105mm though... Nathan...
  19. If you want an easy, good, self adjusting brake get a louise fr 05 - £100 i think! Or go for a hope 6 pot ti, they're apparently not bad Or even a hope-try all from ebay... Nathan

    How To:

No mine's a 1060 and it feels quite streety, I was gonna get an ashton but then I realised my dream of having a zoo pitbull could come true, it was on offer on select and tarty and it is as short as the ashton Nathan
  21. Yeah I agree with "TheMunn", before I had an old XT BB which was only 110 and my echo ring rubbed on my frame, I bought a 127.5 neco bb from selectbikes and it is fine If it doesn't fit you can grind the tabs on your freewheel

    How To:

The above is lovely but its a little small...

    How Groovy :p

Yeah I'll touch it up later... I might email the guys at zoo and get them to make me those stickers properly, and while I'm at it I'll ask for a 'nathan' sticker like tunni's got Nathan
