My mate is after a welded lockring freewheel and he was wondering if the welded ACS on tartybikes has just a welded lockring or whether the actual pawls are welded... I run a D521 up front, but when I had one on the back I had to do a pad bodge to even make the pads touch the rim (on a zoo pitbull 05 frame) so I got an old echo and the problem was soon sorted... Nathan

I'm not aware that there are any other type of hydro rim brake available, there have been hydro v's before but apparently they're shocking... XTR's are good, and so two are maggies, I have no experience with any different pads with either, but I have ran them both, if I were you I would get an xtr but with an xtr lever Get an xtr especially if your going to have to run evo mounts for a maggie Nathan
