Well I'm only 15 and that is the only day my mate has off work, also I'm going to Cromer on Sunday so do not really have a choice... Cheers, Nathan

Right bascially we have a couple of people from shittlesey, couple from eye and a few guys from yarmouth coming down, just wondered if anyone can make it... Have not confirmed times yet, but will post in or pm everyone who's replied to the topic before the date... Most likely be meeting at train station between 10 and 12... If anyone needs to speak to me my number is 07930 156870 and that can be kept for future reference too (ie. on the day) Cheers everyone, Nathan

Yeah I thought I got it wrong but I had a mental block And no the cable tie is holding it on the frame so that it doesn't slap and loosen... That's why I thought it was so snug... Nathan
-
Looks lush but 'tis without doubt another copycat... *cough* gu *cough* As I said, verrrry nice though... Nathan
-
That is one of the most sexual rides I have ever seen - smegging lush! Nathan
-
RIP to him... So sad that we can do nothing about it..... *Mourn* Nathan

Why doesn't someone just make a frame with a built-in chain tensioner, because most trials riders nowadays, unless they enter competitions use gears... I can't be arsed to draw up a diagram of what I mean, but you get the idea of a cog coming out of the frame or something... Probably a totally crap idea but it could be adapted... Nathan

Forks are echo urbans and the pads are 35mm heatsinks... Nathan
-
The main reason I wanted to post these pics was because this chain tensioner is great, my mate bought it off egay a while back and since he got a mech he doesn't use it, and I decided to stick it on... Here are the pics anyway... And this one because its cool... Notice my new allen key skewer, does anyone else use these? Comments welcome, good or bad... Nathan

Loooovely but a big big no to the lever, I think it needs an 05 maggie in black with a black zoo lever blade... Super stealth Nathan
-
Don't get an echo 06, my mate snapped on clean in half... Echo 05's are cheap and very strong, hence Neil Tunnicliffe, Craig Lee Scott and James Porter use them... Best bet is selectbikes Nathan
-
No I don't think you can but the only difference between internal and external is that the frame has moulded cups rather than hitting in cups... I think the best internals are cane creek ones - you can get them from chainreactioncycles Nathan

Middleburns, a sensible one however Zoo Pitbulls Who can do the biggest gap Sitting on the forum moaning your bored when you could be just as easily riding and having fun Riding 'manifesto style' Making comments about people's mums just because they don't like their colour co-ordination (or lack of...) Making topics about trials forum trends Personal messaging people for conversation Nathan

Although you may not want to, you could make a nice little vid out of that, just get a song and a tiny bit of editing and your in! Cool riding, like your style too Nathan

He has much more than 400, but I used it as an estimate because he said "I don't want to spend too much"... That club roost looks great, but will look around on ebay etc for a patriot too... Do you know if the kona stinky's are any good? Cheers for everyone's feedback, Nathan Additional: What I meant by a cross between XC and freeride was a sort of hardtail/streety frame but with a shock... That's what he's after. If no-one else knows what I'm on about, just ignore me

Why couldn't the cat get through the catflap? Because it had a javelin through its head Nathan

My knowledge of freeride and cross country frames has completely dessipated over the last couple of years Basically, my bro is willing to spend up to about £400 on a frame, it will obviously be second hand and he wants a full susser I was thinking maybe a kona stinky or king kikapu off the bay? Any suggestions would be real good, and if you could recommend any shocks, forks, and cranks too that would be great... If anyone has a freeride bike could they give me the spec of give me a link to a site with specs or something? Thanks very much, Nathan

I take it you don't get the CRC newsletter then... Hydropacks are on sale at www.chainreactioncycles.com and look quite decent Good luck

My mate Adrian (aim@me on forum) snapped his echo 06 in half, don't get one of those... I have an echo 05 and it's pretty solid considering I always do spinny street stuff and land on it sideways, don't know about the viz rims but the new koxx rims are meant to be good I THINK The only problem I have with my echo is the width, because I have quite worn pads and they don't set up that well... Nathan

I have your vid Ben and your the bollocks Nathan

Well everyone knows that the whole point of trials, at the end of the day is to enjoy yourself, and that's what he does - I just think he has a cool style... Nathan
-
What about chain line? Is it dead in line? Nathan
-
Know what you mean too, one thing I like is popping my front end up as I roll up to something (using a brick or slope or something) then locking my back brake and lurching a bit... I have also seen Jon Shrewsbury do a big sidehop then do a tiny little bunnyhop (literally about half an inch), which I think he did to correct his balance, but it just looks great! I'm thinking the same, he isn't overly capable but I think he's one of the most inventive riders around... As well as going big and making people gobsmacked, I think trials needs to be creative, that way it is more attractive and interesting... Nathan
