that was the ashton signiture model was weird because the frame size was about 4" higher than the one ashton rode and before that he rode a F700 or F900 which was the headshock one. anyone cool pics and i hope you get better soon and still stay involved somehow in trials Mike

the axl rose ego project is tempting me to go - hopefully some other bands i like will sign up for the sunday and i can just go for the day

those trialskings video were awesome - some of the stuff they were doing - huge taps and gaps on zebbers with 50mm stems but yeah i have been watching those vids for ages and there has been loadsa times when i have gone out and one of my mates has gone 'i tried/did the gap/line that holyrod/burns did in HD1/etc/etc' - there were/are amazing riders and way ahead of there time. it is just different styles really and what other people find fun But its weird in Leeds because there are so many different riding styles and when i go out riding with different people i do ride different. Its all lines and silly crap with Boon and with say Tim i probably go a bit bigger and try more 'pure' trials stuff. Its all good though and is great fun on smaller rides i prefer having a variety of styles out. But big rides i tend to go off and do my own thing and just mess about because i can't be arsed queueing for a wall.

I broke my xt lever blade the other night and need a new one. I have look on CRC and Wiggle but they don't have them. I need somewhere online because i am not going to have time to get to a bike shop, because of work. Can anyone help? ta Mike

Odyessy Hazard Lite - I am running the standard one on the front and its awesome, wish I got a another one when i bought it. Great Rims but difficult to get hold of!! Mike

I run a maxxis swampthing on the back of mine and it is the only tyre choice really if you are planning on going anyway near anything remotely slippy and/or rocky - quite heavy but not that bad if run a standard tube! Another option is the IRC kujo, they are okay My next rear tire though is gonna be the arrow racing lauch tire - lighter than for maxxis , sticky compound and thick sidewalls , but more of a streety tread pattern! I got a dmr motodigger on the front and great front tyre - really light weight and pretty grippy. i wouldn't put it on the rear though you would have to run thick ass downhill tube though because the sidewalls are thin or a high pressure, which some people do, but i can't get used to the 40psi if you want a more flicky bike get the front end up high and wideish bars are good!

last time i won the lottery i bought a bus ticket - £8.90 wooo go me!! I would pay off my mum and dads mortage, and buy them stuff they wanted. get the best speech doctor for my niece and get stuff for my sis and her bloke buy a house for me and my gf and go to japan/oz learn to drive go on a big 'roadfools' type roadtrip and get cameramen and stuff to film it, get it professionally edited too!

In ten years time some of you kids will be younger than I am now Well I will be 35/36 and still will be with my girlfriend and had lots of adventures Maybe started a family and have a house and stuff!! Hopefully still riding occasionally and following the scene - hopefully i a could raise enough cash done some sort of 'road fools' thing that would be awesome! I hopefully will be thinking of doing some sort of hans rey-eqse ride, using all my trials skillz to tackle some crazy foreign place! job wise - haven't got a clue

My knees are shot and i need to go to docs about them i think - after a day ride it really hurts to walk to steps! my wrists hurt a bit, bit thats mainly because i have landed badly on them a few times recently and my shoulder to hurts a bit too. shins are fairly buggered too

my mum is totally like that too annoys the hell outta me, whenever i go home its like she tell where every bit food is in the kitchen and i am 'i know where the cubboards are mum, if i am hungry i am sure i can find something' and my dad is just like 'he lived away from home for 6 years and he isn't dead, i think he can look after himself' haha but the most annoying thing is my mum always asks my if i have had my pill for my epilepsy, it annoys me so much because i have been taking them for 8 years' but i know she just worries because that what mums do, but it really gets on me tits, because i haven't even had a fit while living away from home. It annoys the hell out of my dad. I have asked her not to ask me, but she doesn't listen - *sign* parents eh...awesome yet can be damn annoying sometimes

yesterday i did.. 6:30 – got woke up by girlfirend getting up for work 7:30 – got up for work –showered, breakfast, made lunch, etc 8:25 – got bike out of shed, and rode to work 9:05 – 5:10 – did work, tried not to do work, ate, read paper, drank hot chocolate 5:15 - met Boon and gave him a stem and then pissed about in the rain, did some random new tricks 7:00 – met luke, kev and tim and rode about in the rain 7:20 – got and punture and let my bike fall off wall and the front brake lever bent…b*****d, walked to halfords 7:40 – met andre in halfords, made him come out in rain after I fixed punture 8:15 – did a gap to front I have never done 8:50 – got chucked off some pallets by the police 9:29 – Train home 9:40 – ate food that Cat had left for me 10:15 – me and cat, walked one of her friends home 10:50 – got home, tidied up and sorted out stuff for going away this weekend 11:15 – came on computer and got annoyed because non of the three torrents of episode nine 24 worked 11:50 – went to bed!!!
