i couldn't disagree more with that statement ... yes street is the new trials in the eyes of the mbuk public, mbuk helped push trials for a few years and has been the only mtb that has ever given a crap about trials too - but mtb street/dirt is very popular at the moment and mbuk has to do features on that to sell and to keep being a profitable mag! comps aren't in the past at all, britain has got more prospects (and already world champs) than ever before savage, slinger, danny bulter, etc. Britain hosted it first world round ever and was a great success and this year there is a major uci comp series for the first time! as for crazy stuff that used to be done, crazier stuff is probably being done as i type, there is now more people pushing there limits of loads of different styles of trials. people just seeing how big they can go for the hell of it and others just going tech as they can on a trials bike. Yes a lot of people have left trials, but in the last year or so there has been a influx of kids 13/14 years old starting trials ... its crazy! just because trials is out of the public eye doesn't mean it doesn't have a bright future.

red bull vodka is great, quite shocked you ain't tried it before i always thought it was quite popular. a great cocktail to get you pissed is a 'ghosttrain' shot of vodka, jd and southern comfort and then top up with lemonade, will get you royaly f**ked! AndrewT, real ales and beer in the uk are great plus its becoming a lot more popular in the UK with more and more bars offering them and can cost between £2 - £5 depending on the beer and place! though i was in one pub at christmas and they had real ale costing £1.60 a pint!!!

he does has the briefest appearance in 'Counterparts' (Aaron Chase's new film)! He does a tailwhip and then some backwards gaps on small concrete block things on his ET24 ... I think it was filmed at the bikebattle in America, because Akrigg is on his T-Snaptor! I'm hoping he is in the TrialNoir dvd, since Ashton had some footage that was gonna be in archive1, but that ain't happening and Edd did co-start trialnoir. But I guess we will see ... Mike

i think danny has always rode , i heard he has been riding 'stunts' since 11/12 , so thats 9 years!

true, as long as they are not scantily clad chavs .. hehe I haven't seen much hip hop live - Saw Rahzel at a Club , which was ok! Seen Enimen at MEN and Leeds Festy and he was shit and saw RUN DMC at leeds festy and they were awesome!!
-
i don't like the streets, but this isn't about that! Are they good live? I just can't see how they would be interesting to watch in the live setting, i have seen many bands live that i am not into and even though i didn't like there music, i could appreiate them live. If you know what I mean... Bit Confusing, just interested!

Streetfurnituretrials - New Pictures Now
Brian Bleech replied to Punkrider's topic in Website Updates
overall i like it - when reading the blog-thing about the ride, and clicking on the picture links it would be really good if they opened just to the right of the text where that pic of the guy on the back wheel is, instead of opening a new window. dunno if that been said, didn't read the whole topic mike -
