  2. what about sunn they were fairly old skool, before pashley any how. heavy tools made a mod a long time ago, gt in the 80s too, IBIS (i think) made a 24/26 inch trials bike early to mid nineties)
  3. dents and stratches give an bike character
  4. find me a tensionor and a headlock (the ones that go all the way through) my headset is made of random bits and needs holding together... brakes work though
  5. oh tempted! i may be there depending on whether i can get a bike built by then
  6. awesome stan - how a trials video should be, loved the control you have over your bike and how you managed to grip on anything great stuff
  7. Steel - easier to weld - easier to work with - repairable - nicer 'feel' imo aluminium is great too, but unless you know someone who is a very good aluminium welder it isn't worth it for a custom job. Even then, the fact that (pretty much) anybody with a welding torch can repair steel (without affect strength) gives it an advantage in the custom stakes.
  8. ta dude think its these i need but gotta find somewhere cheaper £5 for them!
  9. are people talking about the super pro bash or normal bas - i run mine with a normal bash with a middleburn ring (flipped over) with no probs and no stiff links! Great chain imo, will be getting another when the leeson comes back. In fact I prefer it too the kool, which went really sloppy and it found is a bit more stretchy. both good though
  10. The first cube is amazing the second one isn't as good, because you find out what the cube is and it doesn't raise as many questions as the first. Bill And Ted 1& 2 Wayne’s World 1&2 Airheads Dawn Of The Dead (origional) The Fugative Demoliton Man The Running Man Beverly Hills Cop 1&2 Cube
  11. cheers for putting this together dude! its a shame it my bike absolutly dead though you should see the zebber, its looking pretty sweet though thanks dude, stoopid riding is the way forward That fair enough dude!
  12. oh bugger!! its for a mark 1 zebdi if that helps. Building a bit of a ghetto 24" :$
  13. Does anyone know what size thread a brake boss is? The bit that goes into the frame. Cheers
  14. i may be out tomorrow, not sure! i found a big crack today, so have gotta buiuld up zebber tomorrow
  15. i have steadily increased the height of my bars and i prefer it higher, it is better on the back wheel and comes up a lot easier. The two areas where i am noticing the biggest difference are my bunnyhops and my up to wheelswaps. It feels a bit nicer for gaps too, i can tuck up abit better with a higher front end. i have 25.5" wide bars and i get on with them alright, but unless you are into barspins and x-ups i probably would bother cutting them down.
  16. good job i have an orange bike - titec stems are ok and have a good combo of rise and lengths, but are quite tall. sic usa do the 3" rise chase bars too - http://www.sicusa.com and you can get them through descent world i woukd say a decent combo would be a titec stem - 90X25 with no spacers and 2.5" singlewalls. i know someone with and ashton and this combo and its nice
  17. does matter now i have found that windows explorer can do everthing that i need, without having to install anynew software and stuff

  21. I don't think anyone makes anything like that, but leeson might be able to make you some light weight steel forks. A lot of through axle hubs can be converted to qr, with adaptors or a different axle. What hub do you have? Mike
