  2. got mine finished, dunno why there is a random flicker at the start ... nevermind trials shack link << left click mike
  3. it crashed again last night (while shutting down divx player ) the BSOD error was
  4. 23 isn't old .... pah!! I am almost 26 and two of the guys that I ride with are 25 too, also most of the people I ride with are over 20 too !! Andy P is right if you want to ride you will find time
  5. tioga multi contol thingy or tioga spyder dmr have bought the the livense for the macneil patent - could be sweet.
  6. Rightio, Snapped my tensile cranks and what I want to know is can i run the standard tensile 22T bashguard on the urban legends And if not, what will fit? I don't want any of this flimsy uci bashguard shit (how am i meant to stall on them ) the echo ones look quite burly though, if i go down this route whats the best 18T ring! Mike
  7. almost finished mine, hopefully my pc can hold together so i can edit it ...
  8. My computer has been crashing recently, for example: Yesterday it was on from 8am till 6pm, just downloading a 350meg torrent! I then switch it off until around 8:30 when I was did around 30mins editing in premiere and watched a dvd and about 20mins into the dvd it restarted and then just after it had loaded up it crashed to the dreaded blue screen and that said ‘beginning dump of physical memory’ Any ideas? overheating maybe? I can hear the fan working and it wasnt dusty when I put some new (altho 2nd) ram in on Saturday night. Could that ram just be broke maybe. It did crash before I put it in, but very rarely! It normally goes to begin with when either in doing a lot of stuff (msn, itunes, internet + others) or watching dvds or in premiere! any help ... Cheers Mike
  9. yeah that ackrigg fellow is pretty dece .... anyhow, i can't see mongoose signing ackkers and then just releasing a high end frame that 90% people won't be able to afford. It wouldn't suprise me to see a cheaper alu or steel version of the frame come out, but with the same geo!
  10. sorry dude, white trackies is the worst trials fashion ever... but the riding was pretty f**king awesome from all three of you, good work and good editing
  11. cool dude, think i will give the gusset one and plaz a try then! and get myself some lovely new tensile urban legends half price, hopefully.
  12. Has anybody used the Gusset SlimJim pedals, because I need some new ones and they look right up my street! So if you have are they any good? If not them any other lightish, wide platform pedals that are cheap (not DMR V8) – odyessy Jim Cielencki ones maybe? Oh and what pads are good for a front magura on a smooth rim. I what it to have good lock, but decent modultaion too. Was thinking just kool stops, but not sure. and supercycles deal with warrenty claims for tensile stuff, don't they? Thanks
  13. didn't more people comment on your pants than the video anyhow, fair play and good luck dude! Hopefully no one will give you shit for it!
  14. it rides awesome too, bunny hops like a dream. mike p.s. oh and kenny, i just spend 3/4 hour faffing around changing the chain on my bike , because i thought my khe chain was being arsey, turned out i had just tighten up the cage bolt too tight and the jockey wheels wouldnt go round -- proper tardcore p.p.s 'get f**king back to scotland'
  15. very nice john! I have been thinking about getting a 26 for a bit on the side recently.
  16. people seem to learn so fast these days, i think the fact at cheap bikes nowadays are better than high end bikes of 5/6 years ago helps and that they are more good riders to learn off as well. but that said you a lot of new/younger riders can often struggle when thing become a bit more technical and on natural, because that sort of riding experience is important and flat surfaces are easy in comparison. Mike
  17. he got better since he learnt to do the trials grunt!!
  18. i went from 22-18 to 20-16 and yeah you can feel a tiny difference, but its so small that it won't affect your riding anyway. running 165 cranks too. imo its a great gear for streety trials. Mike
  19. i may pop along, got a load of stuff to do tomorrow though. Could some people text me there number I might come along later. oh is tom from wakie coming as i have his number already?
  20. i got chucked off leeds uni last night for filming. I was riding a curb for f**ks sake
  21. looking good steve! i like the glow in the dark forks - sweet! can't wait till i get mine back, though the paint job is gonna look nice, but be kinda boring
