  1. why? Just to get an ajustable bb height Trials bikes should look towards using spanish bb's
  2. Couple the integrated seat post/tube design with a macneil style seat and that would be even better
  3. yeah that was a good ride. The best bit was when Tim left and we found them big rocks to fly at The bike looks ace kev!

  6. first thought: that looks cool - why can't i bunnyhop best memory: learning to bunnyhop and then deciding it would be a good idea to bunnyhop a 6" girder (i could only hop only an inch or two) and crashed and burned and still have the scar to prove it. me and tim getting lost on the way to addingham, when we walked from the station took us ages and then had an awesome ride GBYB 05 best moment: trying to do a section fakie at the fun comp at the beginning of the year ...didn't work. sidehop gap to smith them moments where you are just at work/school/pub/whatever and you all off a sudden think of a line and you can't wait to get out and try it...

  9. It looks nothing like a BMX... It will do to start with, but once you progress a bit you will want something better
  10. If he does that won't the left hand side pedal keep coming loose and he can't use a proper LHS pedal as that will cross thread. You need to send them back
  11. The pedal threads will be the wrong way round!!!
  12. that polish one isn't sprung and is just a one piece of metal with a roller. My roller is going strong after a year
  13. Tapped it again and it stripped straight away, I think its just Mcbuggered! Used a standard QR thing instead as a temporary measure till i can get a new one though may have a wander down to the local garage o friday as its my day and see if they will helicoil it for free/cheap!
  14. its meant to be funny And who ever said the new dawn of the dead, nope the old one is far superior... A Couple More Films: Kingpin White Men Can't Jump
  15. theres no difference in technique! But some bikes are harder to bunnyhop than others, due to geometry and set-up A good technique to help you learn is to stand over your bike with your front front on the floor. Use JUST your back foot to lift the rear of the bike up. Don't use your brakes at all! Then move on the rolling along at a slow speed with both feet on the pedal, practise lifting just the back wheel off the ground. Remember don't use your brakes for doing this. This will help you learn how to 'unweight' the bike.
  16. Crikey he's a bit good! Awesome riding (but did we expect less). The video itself didn't do much for me, too much slo-mo
  17. Depends where you rode though dude! If you rode in the city centre or something it would be fine. I still want to do an all night Leeds ride, 10pm to 6am would be brill
  18. That tensioner looks in many respects similar to the leeson tensioner which works ace! If you could knock up something like that it would be good
  19. I somehow manage to strip the threads on my leeson 360 dropout quick release insert thingy! So I need to know what size threads a qr is so I can redo the threads in it : ) Cheers
  20. this is an awesome video - the size of the gaps and taps with short ass bikes and 50mm stems! I thought holyrod was gonna be in trial noir, was a little dissappointed when he wasn't!!
  21. good god thats awful well done to all the british lads...

  23. nha there are crap! sidehop gaps to smith or icepick are better
  24. Cheap things i have done in London: Loads of the museums are free now and they are pretty good, Although every art gallery is now shit to me after going to the vatican! Camden is good for a look round. take a picnic to one of the parks and just people watch go to speaker corner in hyde park, can be interesting expecially if there some nutters there! go to some of the markets, spitalfields and that other famous one.
