  2. yeah it would have to be thursday if any day, pretty busy this week! Will pm/txt you tomorrow
  3. :$ :$ :$ sorry Rode street in wakie last night and ended up at some rocks Haven't ridden uni for 5 weeks totally agree! sometimes I see young uns and they are all over the place on the back whel and then they try a bar height sidehop. I think sometimes people need to stop and 'ride' a bike more
  4. Axl Rose... ...so I could finally release Chinese Democracy and just to see what exactly goes on in the tiny head of his. Mick Hucknall... ...so I could disappear in a hole somewhere, forever!!
  5. hows about john o'groats tues and then landsend wednesday

  7. Alright Dudes, Since the roadtrip topic is a mess, I thought a new one would be just make things clear. After talking to a few people, I was just wondering what everyone thinks of these days. Sat: Porthcawl Sun: Porthcawl Mon: Porthcawl Tue: Swansea (is it any good?) or Porthcawl for the natural folks as there is tons there  Wed: Bristol Thurs: Reading … maybe any other ideas? Nothing too far down south though, Fri: Home (for me, kev and a few others and I think for Kenny too) or the other folk can go somewhere else Sat: Manc Demo (+ night out maybe) Sun: Manc Demo We were thinking this gives us a chance to ride and have chill out in porthcawl, so hopefully will get a bit a holiday and plenty of stuff (loadsa street and natty) to ride at the same time. Swansea just because its close could just go for a few hours depending on how good it is. Reading because its somewhere new and we did the south coast last year (plus kev has to be back to drop his car back at work by 10am Friday so don’t want to be too far down south). So yeah…
  8. Contract: if you spend loads and like the newest bestest phone. P.A.Y.G: if your cheap like me. I don't give a crap about having a good phone (I got an old Nokia 3310) and just get friends old ones for cheap/free if i need a new one and spend about £150 a year on O2 with the 300+ texts a month card
  9. Cool! I will do this tonight and will use oven gloves I don't care about the maggie backings as they are going into heatsink vees
  10. Out of the Swampthing and Highroller I would go with the swampthing everytime, I have tried both and the swampthing just feels better imo. But I am running a holyroller at the moment pumped up to about 35psi and its brillient for spins, manuals and it rolls awesome, yet still offers more than enough grip (in the dry) - I have tried it in the wet yet So yeah it pretty much depends on how you want to ride your 24"! ‘Pure’ Trials – Swampthing Rear, DMR moto digger front Streety BMX influenced trials – Holy roller Rear, Swalbe Table Top/Tioga Comp X/DMR Moto Front Hope that helps.
  11. I have some Koxx Browns on the way and I am going to be running in heatsink vee backings. So how do I go about getting the pads out of the backings? I am sure I have read something about boiling them, but had no luck on the search!
  12. Yes! Found some cool rocks about 4 - 6 foot high and sloped at Backcown a couple weeks ago. It was the most fun ever just riding fast at them and kicking up them. And also using smaller sloped rocks to kick up onto bigger ones
  13. Ryan Leech's current build... [attachmentid=6150] looks slightly lower and slightly longer than before and whats that in his pocket
  14. people seem to like front wheel trackstands and tailwhips personal fav is the x-up endo, but that will probably be replaced by hang 5s (hopefully) soon and some other bmx flatland trick i am trying to learn but can't remember the name of
  15. when i saw this topic i thought of that bike! couldn't remember which one it was though. yeah having holes in frames could easily be the next step and done right wouldn't affect strength [attachmentid=6136] [attachmentid=6137] [attachmentid=6138] [attachmentid=6139][attachmentid=6140]
  16. i think thats just the rear hubs
  17. I disagree, I think less people do bunnyhops and manuals now. If you look on the video section 90% of videos are taps, gaps and sidehops! Not that here is anything wrong with those moves. I think trials used to be technical moves, but riding anything and 'doing sections' and then went more streety with manuals bunnyhops and stuff about 5 years and now is more about just BIG moves. I would love to see someone like tunni try something different and maybe ride smaller stuff but try and flow through more lines, rather than single moves. He could probably do some beast ones too! EDIT: there is always going to be riding trends in trials, some moves will fall in and out of fashion and so will bike set ups as well. Having different styles of trials is a good thing imo
  18. Nice vid dude! Your getting loads better now and still having loads of fun (by the looks of it) sweet
  19. yep, bring the lube and I will take you there one night <<< your face will look like that its about ten mins away from my house dude, there are a few other bits and bobs around to ride, enough for an evening! We will go there once you get back
  20. totally know what you mean dude! just like little thins like balance on the back wheel and instead or taking a set up hop you take a little manual or something and your more pleased with that than the gap or sidehop...
  21. Bored, so a few screen capures for you me, possible the best wallride in Leeds! [attachmentid=6119] tim drop gap from wall to logs, kept on back wheel across logs too [attachmentid=6120] kev replace(pigeon) bollard and then gap to fence [attachmentid=6121]
  22. great stuff balance lines too, a rare thing in trials vids today keep it up and one day you will have a big house too ....
