  1. Just getting stuff sorted for my bmx and just wanted to know what half links are decent! I have an old shadow conspiracy chain, am I best stealing on off there or is there any thing better? I will be running a khe collapse chain!

    24" Geo

74 (I was gonna go for 74.5 at one point ) is fairly standard in bmx, it makes the bike feel aggressive and responsive when on two wheels. The steeper headangle also gives me a touch more reach while keeping the bike short and flicky. A slacker headangle is better for hooks and taps, but I don’t really do them, I can hook it on near vert walls, but haven’t got the knack of vert ones yet and I just bunnyhop up stuff I just like a bike that feels nice on just blasting about on two wheels (I find bikes with a slack headangle feel sluggish), while feeling good on the back wheel (but not like a pogo stick) and I have on so I am happy [attachmentid=7004]

that looks spot on really - i have the same but with a 74 head angle!
  4. I totally agree too! I think that trials definitely needs more variety. I watch a lot of these new vids and I think decent rider can do some good single moves, but say someone does a 45” sidehop from the floor up a square wall and have to watch another 10 sidehops the same height (or less) but on different walls. I mean fair play for doing your biggest sidehop, but we don’t need to see it over and over again. I just think that people need to take a step back from what they are riding and look and see if they any way they can link things together and make things more interesting for us and them  I don’t mean everyone needs to buy a short bike or a 24” and start riding it like a bmx (although having 10psi in your tire, feels awful ) but just go explore on your bike, you might find something interesting to ride on! Oh and Ashton on the bollards in chainspotting was awesome.
  5. vee ... but hope disks are very nice, but I would break them!
  6. jayce and the wheel warriors > *

  8. unlucky rob! hope you feel better soon! hire a steamroller and get that bump...
  9. you could have used a picture where it didn't look like i was taking the cock as much! oh and buy an ashton or a 24"
  10. wouldn't fit on a trials bike though It wouldn't work too well in the wet A wide ceramic rim would rule though
  11. Not available for hope's yet, but could be soon! They also look damn nice!
  12. By the sound of it 24" will suit your riding perfectly They are great fun. When you go out riding, just try and look hard for new lines and maybe try and link two previous serparate lines together (like could you do a 180 to sidehop). You will find that pumping your tires up a bit will make streety stuff easier, try around 30 psi. also go to http://www.26twenty.com and download some of the vids, they is a really streety mod rider on there. go have fun.
  13. I would be very tempted by disks, but as I do dropout tricks it’s a definate no-no! As it is My ultimate on the back is an amazing setup and run it with koxx browns (heatsink backings) and with odyessy linear slic cables (put a few drops off finish line wet xc lube down the outer  and its so smooth and powerful. I have a light/medium grind too.
  14. If you go to or are at uni, just don't buy as much crap as I did! I wish I had saved more while I was there. but always remember to be... .... dedicated to proposition which was true in my time, just as it's true today. Be excellent to each other. And... PARTY ON, DUDES!
