  1. but EDIT: too slow, should never have gone for a piss mid reply....
  2. Random Problem.. Switch my pc on it says there is 'no signal input' on the monitor. so I fiddle about with it and take my graphic card (Geforce - AGP slot ) out and put it back in and it works. But if I switch my pc off and on again I get the same problem and have to take out the card and put it back to get the pc too work. So I put in my old bog standard does the job PCI graphics card and get the same problem and it is 'fixed' in the same way. so it would seem something is up with the motherboard, but I haven't a clue! Do you? thanks in advance
  3. bench run to wall run to stool gap went titts up carpet burns fuiuckjed !!! ] copt and paste
  4. when you capture footage it should come off your camera as a umcompressed .avi file - these are big btw make sure you have plenty of disc space. I use a program called scenerlyzer (sp??) to captune it
  5. On the subject on compression, premiere and stuff... How does everyone else do writing? I use paint shop pro and import the layer into premiere, but it alays ends up a bit blocky and I want it looking crisper and nice (like it looks when I export something uncompressed) - any ideas I use Mpeg1 mainly, but have used DIVX and wmv recently - Divx is nice
  6. Have a look towards other areas of cycling and see if you can apply technologies/techniques to your trials frame that hasn’t been done before  Take a look a the Eastern BMX frames in this months RIDE, Holes cut out and serated dropouts (so the wheel doesn’t move), also look at using spanish/mid bb – things like that would make me look twice
  7. after the saturday backyard, we went and watched a preview of Roundabout 2, and afterwards there was a trailer for the follow up to Voices and it looked great... 'coming september 2007'
  8. my gusset tape cog fitted perfectly onto my king! you could be have trouble if you ran a standard shimano cassette cog and it dug in or just try and squeeze an extra spacer on, 9 speed are the smallest.
  9. yeah I used to run a deore one, but could never get it quite right! Always felt a bit crap! May try again... may as well get a whole new front brake if I do that too, my current one is pretty buggered I did run a cane creek vee which has no noodle and that felt good, but broke in a couple of months because they were pretty shitty quality, expecially the springs. ...plus I wouldn't mind running/trying something different just because.. i suppose i could run the same setup but with a U-brake
  10. thanks dude - i was looking on the new site so I would have to go back to canti's! I had a real problem with snapping straddle cables back int day. I wonder is I use a london mod on the front :wizard: But the avid shorty is a sweet brake and I could use vee pads! I would have to find a way stop the outer cable at the top too, but the routing looks ace
  11. Non hooded sweatshirt are cool too, because you can wear jackets on top without the hood being annoying
  12. pretty much, just needs some STREEEEEEEEET stickers but your bike is so sweet dude ... b*****d!
  13. Some good designs, that look cool? tee-shirts and hoodies that relate to trials, but without having 'KOXX' it a dodgy logo all over it. Stuble colours are nice instead of making things as bright as possible. oh and one that says 'F**K Vincent Hermance' on it
  14. really really nice - good to see you looking for new products and innovative products to put trials bike. Those cranks are awesome and look amazing, is the sprocket held onto the axle? (kinda like the DMR Crisis crank).
  15. I have had a look but can't see anything, could you point me in the right direction - is it the same that was in Ride last month or so?
  16. best video in ages dude, the line at 2:42 was sweeeeet
  17. cool, yeah I was a bit vague. Thinking about it a couple more would be useful too paint diagram coming up rightio - also does anyone know what the minimum distance 'd' can be for a front brake [attachmentid=8162] yeah this might be for the 24" just need rough ideas too see if it worth trying
  18. there is a video in the little wheels thread, can't remember which one (it wasn't a proper dvd though) and this guy in New York does manual onto a ledge and then tries on frontflip into this concrete bank. Plus Cramer has tried frontflips off fun boxes. its just looking at the acutally physics between a front and backflips , fronts just seem way more likely. bunnyhop 360 whips on flat will be done soon...
  19. A bunnyhop frontflip is more likely, people have tried them on street but that off stuff into a bank! On flat nigh on impossible.
  20. more than one - tailwhip drops - smith grinds - hang 5/10 - bunnyhop ice to 270/fakie - sidehop to ice to backwheel - fakie to 180 ups
  21. Could someone do me a favour and measure the distance between the middle of the pad bit to the mounts on a hombre and evolver brake please any U-brake would do to start with, but would like one of those two really thanks
  22. Etnies Callicut or Rooftop, both great trainers! Got some Orchids to try out as well! £20 Bargain. Proper BMX shoes are the best... comfy and don't look like pixie boot
