    Jobs

If you just want a job to get your dad off your back, just get one doing some data entry or factory work or waiter/cook in a pub
  3. yeah I moved from 26" to 24" and it was the best thing ever for me... I have a kinda bmxy/mess about riding style and the 24" is perfect for it
  4. I thought most UK comps weren't fussed about the gear rule, except for British champs. Which still leaves a ton of comps for people to enter... but yeah the gear rule (along with the shoe rule) pretty much sucks
  5. I am gonna be buying a DVD burner in a couple of months or so, as my cd writer is dead and I may as well upgrade while I am at it. I am mainly gonna be using it for (as well as backup) burning bmx vids/tv(24)/films so I can watch them on the tv downstairs, so whats the best program for this? Nero? I also want to burn all the riding vids I have done onto a dvd, already started exporting more recent as m2v and wav files. For this I want something a bit fancier with the ability to have a picture in the background and menu's and a decent font. What are good programs? Also will there be a problem in burning the newer m2v/wav files and the older mpg on the same dvd? just any info would be useful
  6. link... only £40 doesn't look to bad

  9. --> QUOTE(joe b @ Feb 16 2007, 05:22 PM) ←They don't even have the 'Stop Steering System' incorporated in their bikes anymore . I think they are a good idea for street riders and i suppose you've got a point for when your at a competition etc. But from the looks of it you can only run one brake through it . Nice find, though . Cheers, Joe. yeah its for the back brake, you put the front one down the steerer tube get one...
  10. hahaha true dude, i dunno fire just doesn't scare me as much the only reason I can think of to be buried is to be dug up on time team in a few hundred years or so... screw that I want a full on viking burial
  11. started mountain biking and saw ashton and hawyes in mbuk, thought it would be fun to do while I hung around with some mates that skateboarded... ...that was some time ago now!
  12. cremated.... i saw this film when i saw 6 or 7 where this guy got buried alive in coffin and it scared me! but I quite like the idea of my ashes being scattered somewhere, not sure where yet maybe barcalona or santa barbara

  19. fair play for trying this dude and I hope you stick with trials, but i am puzzled as to why instead of spending all these hours on fixing up/looking for parts you having just got a bar job/factory job or something!
  20. yeah lewis is a bloody great rider... so smooth when he pushing it too! Scary to think that Danny makes him look pants when he cleary isn't and yes boon you should have come...
  21. i would say danny is just as much of a trials rider as damon...
  22. Thats a really good first video dude, you should be proud of that! I agree with Rich that time spent on being controlled on the back wheel, instead of going for huge stuff straight of the bat has really paid off. nice one...
  23. ah right cool! obviously means your psuhing yourself which is ace
  24. Was ok! some good moves, but sometimes it would have been cool if you stay on the object for more than half a second and made a few more lines. Like the hook to 90 up the block, would have been cool if you had stuck it and and done the small gap too little block, would have been more 'complete' in my eyes! the rolling gap was huge and mucho respect for that
