  1. I wanna try and get the leeds posse down, but never mind all that... ...clearly some sort of trials forum flag needs to be erected at the campsite :wink2: so its easy for everyone to find! mike
  2. Righio I am posting this for a mate and he wants an 04 pitbull (the shorter one...1060 is it? I dunno :wink2:) But yeah does anywhere still stock them, would be a great help to him :- cheers mike

    Names?

I live in Leeds and I ride trials, hence the entirely dull and unorigional name :wink2:
  4. hey dude!! I know he has made a one with a taller seat tube (and higher standover height) and one with seattube for a normal seat post, so I can't see any reason why he wouldn't do it for you! mike
  5. my grandad used to be ace at it! I remember when i just start ,tb and was trying tricks and stuff! he did that and i was :wink2: :P :- mike

that was cool i enjoyed it :P!!!! the move to 24" wheels was a good one for you steve too :P and some cool ass creative stuff! amusing falls too and sidehops to thin things :P all good keep it up mike
  7. you would think so wouldn't you, but (holds down shift and three) # and thats what it is on the keyboard to! anyhow this is off topic and pointless, sorry!! mike
  8. Yeah i would be happy to pay 2 pounds (why doesn't my keyboard at work have a pound sign) a month for uploading! I would rather pay it in one chunk though! Also yeah I think it would be better to pay for uploading rather than downloading! As paying for downloads would probably put people off downloading vids and if no-one downloads them, no-one is gonna bother making them!! mike
  9. I have used a few caged pedals and if you want caged then the club roost 1Ds are the way to go, really good pedals, the cage and the pedal body are a lot stronger!! Actually my mate Tim (with the camper) just ordered some, will have to ask him where he got them from! I know CRC used to do them, dunno if they still do! mike
  10. thats not too bad an idea! keeping it in a bike bag (or large suitcase...maybe) and keeping it on top of your wardrobe! Even if you just do it when you have room inpections (if you have them, that is)
  11. Don't take it to start with and scope out where you can keep it in your halls! Plus in the first couple of weeks you will (should) be too busy making friends :S. I kept mine in my halls fine, but it just depends on the uni I suppose
  12. hhhhmmm my favs are: (in no particular order) do_the_goon Tripods nick vs curb (and nvc2) roadtrip 04 TM1 ltcpallets london3 bangor dancing through sunday littlewing toxicty HD1 mike
  13. its actaully useful too! like when tapping it forces you not the touch the front brake and sidehopping too, if there is high(for me) sidehop to something fairly wide, i will do it to front wheel wih no front brake and because of this, when my front wheel touches it rolls out and makes me flick my back end up and thus onto the wall!! kina wierd but works for me! plus with a full gripping hand i can sometimes give thing that little more yank on the bars mike
  14. but the saint has a totally different freehub than every other shimano hub, more engagement points, bigger pawls!!
  15. mainly i ride with kev, tim and james from the damnation vids, we tend to ride at least twice a week evening and most sundays !! but also i ride with a million other people too in the leeds and surrounding area
  16. yeah nick seemed to be getting on great with it today!! and the saint mech seemed pretty burly too! overall it looks like it could be a decent hub, just needs a long term test!!
  17. what are you talking about? I am 24 and so is kev that I ride with and Tim is 21 and Kenny thats just moved here is 23!! We all have proper jobs (except Tim the loser hahaha halfords boy) trust me once you get a proper job (or even just temping 9-5) you will still wanna ride your bike! We get out (depending on weather) at least twice a week in evenings and on a sunday! but i am riding tonight, tomorrow and sunday which is the third weekend in a row of just riding! Kev and I are enjoying it more than ever and progressing faster than we ever have!! we have are also building up dirt bikes for the those summer days where its just to hot to ride trials. Mike
  18. I just thought that it was awesome that every section had people laughing, smiling and having fun (Y) (Y) mike
  19. Alright Dudes!! Here is my video from the wales weekend a couple of weeks ago, features very little riding and is mostly footage from the camper and the party! Oh drunken people can't film straight so its a bit shakey and i have no idea what settings people were trying to use, because i have been having trouble with the quality! but anyhow i hope the dudes that were at the party enjoy this wales vid!!! 13mins 104 mb mike
  20. i know you don't have a koxx, it just a cheap jibe at koxx's name because its pants! trials generally suffers enough abuse and lack of respect from other aspects of cycling/public and riding round with bloody koxx on our bikes is just stupid (Y) street trials is whatever you want it to be! :- so riding has to be about competion, does it? whatever happened to just riding for fun (whether that be street or natural) and riding for yourself?
  21. Alright watched it all now!!! i have to say weel done, it was ace obvisously a lot of effort has gone into it!! my favorite parts where jon shrews, tim pratt and (suprisingly) ian drummond! good work and thanks mike
  22. that is true but what about having the demos as usual! but between the demos give a few people from the above list a chance, just to keep the crowd entertain, give them experience! that said you probably know what your doing (Y) mike
  23. site looks great dude!! downloading now can't wait to see the whole the rip dj doesn't link to amazon on mine , but an amazon logo which is below trialmedia sign does! mike
  24. opossite banks near uni, just up from the church that is now a club (the quilted larma or something) and the big building is the parkinson building (the one with all the steps) see some of you saturday and some of you sunday and some of you both days (Y) rock on mike
  25. nah a 24" d521 ceramic for the back and a standard cd for the front! If only *sigh*
